Take the free shuttle bus that will take you in to Bar Harbor and sight see all around Acadia National Park. Watch the lobster boats come in the Harbor from front deck, cool breeze from ocean and shade trees, watch awesome sunsets. Bring your Kayak. Bring your bikes, Just a couple miles from Seawall Picnic Area,which has picnic tables and wood grills , walk on the beach.

Wonderful Quiet Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay in Bass Harbor. The house was very clean and bright. Was just perfect for my wife and me. Just a short walk to harbor, where you can buy your fresh caught Lobster to cook in pot at house. Lobster is very cheap to buy and so easy to fix....which saves a lot of money. The owner was very gracious to us as well as her son whom is a lobster fisherman. If you are looking for a cool, relaxing time this is the place to go. Bring your own kayak and you can kayak in ocean no problem. Not far from Bar Harbor, about 20 minutes. Wish I could go back every summer.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
