Cape May: Cape May, NJ: (20-30 minutes south of Sea Isle)
Cape May is one of five cities in the United States that is officially designated as an Historic Landmark City. With the hundreds of Victorian homes converted to Bed and Breakfasts or year round residences, this designation requires that the city must retain all structures in their original form and must stay in the architectural guidelines of the Victorian Period.
Cape May’s streets are lined with houses ornamented in gingerbread trim, painted in the Victorian style and with wide, airy porches. With an estimated 80,000 visitors per weekend in summer, Cape May has remained a top Seashore Resort Town in the USA
Atlantic City: (20-30 minutes north of Sea Isle)
Atlantic City held its reputation as a major resort town from the 1870’s to the 1960’s. The legalization of gambling in Atlantic City in 1976 was intended to attract new visitors and provide resources for much needed new construction in the city. Resorts International, the first casino, was opened May 26, 1978.Today, the famous 7-mile boardwalk attracts over 30 million people a year. American pop culture icons, such as the game “Monopoly’ whose streets are named after Atlantic City streets keep Atlantic City one of the East Coast’s most treasured towns.

Guestbook comments from the owner
We truly enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home. One question though, were you ever a Boy Scout? I packed to be prepared but to my surprise you had everything that I could possible need. Essentials that many summer homes simply do not have. Well, at least not good stuff ! You guys certainly have made your home accommodating. Thank you both for the great experience!
