What a fantastic place. So many ways to describe it. Clean, beautiful, charming, cozy, warm, amazing, what a wonderful stay.

The owners were amazingly wash to work with and the price point is very fair for what you get.

All of this and in a setting of an amazing and gorgeous place Mt Ranieer. We couldn't have had any better of a time and what fantastic memories we have now. We will definitely be back.

Just Wonderfull

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at the cabin was a real surprise. We never saw a rental that was so fully equipped. Really everything you needed was there. A clean and cozy cabin where you feel at home and very welcome.

We loved the feeding of the deer and where surprised to see so many of them and you could come really close. Our 7 year old daughter was amazed at it all and she could not stop talking about hand feeding the deer. This will be a lifetime memory. Thank you so much.

The entrance of the park is nearby and the cabin is ideally situated for day trips to Mount Rainier. This was our first trip to the mountain and we will certainly come back to enjoy the nature and the quietness.

We adored everything and will have warm memories of our stay.

Thank you for opening up your cabin.

Spectacular Mountain Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

This is the perfect place for a weekend getaway near Mt. Rainier! The house more than lives up to it's billing. It has everything that you could need for cooking, enjoying some warm drinks around the fire, and just relaxing at the end of a day of exploring, plus a jacuzzi in the master room! The owners are extremely nice people and helpful in anything that might come up as well. There is a great path with amazing views along the river about 400m from the house that we enjoyed for a morning run. It's also practically as close as you can get to the park, so make for easy exploring there. Even with the warm weather this year, we were able to do some xc skiing and snowshoeing from Paradise. Unreal area, and definitely worth more trips back!

A comfortable cabin close to Mt. Rainier National Park

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I rented the cabin for a week the first week of September. What a nice cabin! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was nice and well stocked, and the washer and dryer kept our hiking clothes clean the whole time! The cabin was super clean, and the housekeeper had left a nice welcome note with tips on thermostats and deer feeding. The deer came by each morning and evening and were a lot of fun to watch. DeWain and Dovey were great to work with on the business end of this rental. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us this summer!

Fantastic!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and 3 teenage boys stayed here in july, 2014. We have been renting VRBO's for years. I believe this is our favorite to date. Dewain and Dovey have honestly thought of everything. The cabin has all of the comforts of home and more.

The location is perfect for exploring Mt Rainier. Just about 1/2 mile to the Nisqually entrance to the park. You can go hiking all day and then come back to a very comfortable place to stay. From the furniture, towels, kitchen supplies, movie selections, etc, it really had everything. My husband loved the basket of microwave popcorn, hot chocolate and Ande's mints. We would recommend it to anyone.

Enchanting cabin near Mt. Rainier park entrance!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I booked the Laze Daze cabin for part of our 10th anniversary trip from the east coast. Neither of us had been to Washington State before and we wanted to experience Mt. Rainier, so we were excited when we found this wonderful cabin online that was so close to the Nisqually Entrance of Mt. Rainier NP. The owners, Dovey and DeWain, have made this extraordinary little cabin into such a gem! After having driven straight to the cabin (with a stop at the Copper Creek Inn to pick up a fresh blackberry pie - a must do - the best pie I have ever eaten) from Seattle where we had flown in that morning from the east coast, my husband and I were exhausted and it was rainy and chilly outside. When we got to the cabin and opened the door, we were greeted with warmth from a lit woodstove and classical music playing softly in the background. On the table, we found a sweet Happy Anniversary card from Dovey and DeWain and note welcoming us to the cabin from Brenda, the housekeeper. I loved everything about this cabin; the hardwood floors, immaculate bathroom, comfy beds, and even the small deer that visited us the first couple of days we were there and ate the provided deer food right out of our hands! The Stellar Jays, of course, were close by to eat any food remnants the deer left behind! The cabin is surrounded by huge trees and enormous ferns, giving you a sense of awe at the old growth forests surrounding you. My husband and I feel very fortunate to have stayed at Laze Daze cabin. It was a truly memorable experience that I will highly recommend to everyone I know!
