Well-appointed home in peaceful setting
This was a very well-equipped "tiny" home. It had a beautiful setting on the St. Joe River where we enjoyed some much needed down-time. We were there on the weekend before the 4th of July, so there was A LOT of boat traffic and the road noise can be loud, but it may be quieter any other time of the year.

Cute, clean, well stocked.
Cute and clean. New development. Comfortable and well stocked. Not for light sleepers…road noise very nearby. Short drive to town but limited dining options. Yummy ice cream/cafe, antique stores, and basic groceries available. Beautiful view. Paddle boards provided is a nice touch. Communication and check-in process was great.

I've always had a passion for service. Working in hospitality since the age of 14, I learned over the last 25+ years that I get great satisfaction from making people happy. I do that through exceptional guest service, and listening closely to find out what visitors are wanting. I love fulfilling out of the box requests, as it makes the experience so much better for all involved. In my spare time I train organizations on how to deliver consistent exceptional service.

Why they chose this property

This property was the former site of the historic Riverside Resort. Our team purchased the property in 2020 and began remodeling the resort, but quickly discovered that it was beyond saving. A new plan was formulated to create a tiny home resort, and the concept for Riverside Landing on the Joe was created! We had several challenges along the way, but recognized that this area was in desperate need of more vacation accommodations. The tiny homes were key to our ability to have the resort open in such a short timeframe, and they are also a unique place to stay.

What makes this property unique

Having previously purchased tiny homes for our own family's recreational use, we were excited to share the concept with other vacationers. The first thing that many people say when they walk in is "Wow!" That wow comes from how spacious they feel once you are inside. They have high ceilings, and many windows, which provide abundant natural light. Kids absolutely love the loft, and are excited to sleep in a "kid-sized" space (Though adults are equally as comfortable!) The full kitchens with residential appliances make it much more like a vacation home than an RV experience. Speaking of RV - these tiny homes are technically an RV (Recreational Vehicle) that still has wheels underneath the home.
