The house is spacious, comfortable, and immaculately clean. There are tons of extra blankets, pillows, towels, etc. It's not new construction, but all the decor is tasteful and the linens and kitchen stuff all feels new. In the living room there are 2 comfy couches and plenty of lounging space. The layout is very open and perfect for conversation flow.
The deck and backyard are breathtaking, and the owners take pride in maintaining it to high standards. There are a ton of seating options all around the deck and backyard. The pool is clean and a luxury to have at the house. So much easier (and less dirty) than dragging food and drinks out to the beach (which is close).
The gas grill is amazing and we made delicious food throughout our stay. The owner recommended we buy groceries before coming out to the island, which was a great suggestion. The house is well equipped with spices, appliances (coffee maker, whew!), utensils, pots/pans... just bring your food. They directed us to a great fresh fish market on the other side of the island (10 min drive), and we bought a few supplementary groceries too.
If you're looking for a week/end of comfort and relaxation, this house is perfect. The owners are super friendly, and the home was exactly what we were looking for. We hope to make this an annual girls weekend away... definitely coming back to this house.
