Why stay in a hotel when you can enjoy all the comforts of home? This cottage with character is stocked with everything you need for a short stay or a longer vacation, including wine and cookies, what a nice touch. We found it to be neat, clean, and the beds super comfortable! The owner is prompt with communications, and great to work with. It's just a block off the Williams campus, and a short drive to restaurants & groceries. MassMoca in North Adams is only a few miles away.
Restaurant recommendations - Water Street Grill is nice for late nights, several craft beers on tap, favorite appetizer is the mussels in Guiness (outstanding!). Mezze is the fancy place to go, with a very interesting menu of locally sourced food. Enjoyed the raclette which I almost never see on a menu. Coyote Flaco is good Mexican food, very friendly service. Leah's Diner around the corner was not open Saturday mornings, we hope to catch it next time. Chef's Hat is a great breakfast though, only a few miles north on 7.
