Private sandy beach with view of Block Island at Matunuck Beach, RI. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Deck with lounging and beach chairs. Beachside deck with grill and covered porch with dining area and grill. Outside shower w/ hot/cold water. Watersports plentiful. Inside newly furnished. Internet, Wei (game box), and full entertainment system. Stainless steel appliances. Kitchen fully stocked with cooking and dining supplies. Dishwasher, Washer/Dryer. Short walk to restaurants. 2 car garage. ADT security system. Close to Newport and Providence.

Reservations: Serious inquiries will be referred to our rental agent for final agreement. House is expected to be left in condition (clean) as upon arrival. If not cleaned, renter forfeits security deposit.

Amazing!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Dragonfly. The house is just like Mary Poppins, "Practically Perfect in Everyway". When we first arrived we were a little disappointed with the rocky beach. We ventured out and found some wonderful state beaches close by. The cottage is in a short driving distance to everything. 25 minutes to Newport. 10 minutes to Point Judith Lighthouse. Saw amazing sunsets.

Each morning had coffee and breakfast while watching the sunrise. Great areas for morning walks.

Nice added feature is the 2 porches. Oceanfront porch, relaxing watching the waves, street front covered porch, entertaining watching the street traffic to the local pubs and pizza place. Sunshine days and clear nights sitting on the ocean porch was beautiful. Raining days or evenings you can still sit outside on the streetside porch. Can't get any better than that. And it did rain a few nights during our stay.

Theater by the Sea near by has great entertainment. Great eateries close by. Matunuck Oyster Bar, The Bistro (near Theater by the Sea) to name a few.

While you are here you must go to the Fantastic Umbrella Factory.

I would recommend the Dragonfly to everyone.

Great Experience at the Dragonfly

The house is cozy, and right on the beach, just what we wanted. Going up and down the stairs from the beach got a little difficult at times, but it was so wonderful having our very own private beach, although some unwanted guests did show up and got loud a couple of times. The Ocean Mist guests at night on the weekends were also quite obnoxious and we had to close the windows, but the rest of the week the windows were open and the refreshing ocean breeze was blowing through the house. We have never slept so good!! We would highly recommend staying at the Dragonfly!
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
