Hiawatha Pine Lodge is a roughly 6000 square foot custom log home with all of the trimmings. It is located in the heart of the Hiawatha National Forest. It was built in 2003-2004, and has five bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, and a master suite with private balcony and hot tub. It comfortably sleeps 15-20 people in beds, including a bunk-room for the kids. Creature comforts include a large gourmet kitchen, laundry room, multi-room satellite TV, and A/C. A beautiful 4 season screen-porch protects from foul weather and insects when necessary. Two fireplaces complete the picture. The “camp” rests on a very private 5 acre lot with 250 feet of sandy beach. We have an elevated western exposure allowing spectacular nightly sunsets. Nearby attractions include Lake Superior, Lake Michigan, Pictured Rocks Lakeshore, Tahquamenon Falls. 2 hours to Mackinac bridge. Perfect for snowmobile groups. Central Upper Peninsula location gives easy driving access to Mackinac Bridge, elite UP golf courses, casinos, Lake Michigan, and Pictured Rocks Lakeshore. Lake is one of the best inland walleye fisheries, with easy public boat launch access. Nearly equidistant to Munising or rapid river, easy to visit friends and relatives residing in Delta, Marquette, or Alger counties.

Luxurious and beautiful is the best way to describe this place, We were able to experience the full beauty of Michigan's north woods in a secluded setting, on a peaceful lake, with breath-taking sunsets. The home was everything we would have wanted...and then some. Everyone in our party commented on how comfortable the beds were! The home seemed new, clean, and in excellent condition. The owners were kind and helpful to us with every correspondence. I would most certainly recommend this property to others. It offered a perfect place for fun and relaxation!
