Just Like a Relaxing Spa Vacation!!

We had a very relaxing month at this delightful cottage, (I say relax, but we walked biked and toured).
There was no snow to clear, and we left our heavy coats, scarves, gloves and boots in Canada, we did not need them!!
The cottage was exactly as described and the photos were accurate and up to date. The area was more than attractive and we enjoyed the private heaven of the garden.
The cottage was clean and fresh. We even got used to the sound of the train horns as they chugged their way through the town day and night. Did not hear them at all after a few nights.
If we needed anything Jeannie immediately provided for us, she was so helpful. We will visit again and would not hesitate to recommend this property to our friends for a vacation.
Her puppies and cats were regular visitors and very friendly, they were all rescue's.
Ocean Springs has plenty of restaurants and bars. We particularly enjoyed eating at a "Crepe" restaurant in town, light food, delicious and a fun place decor wise.
There is a bike tour route that leads to Davis Bayou state park and we rode this route twice.
The bridge from Ocean Springs to Biloxi offers majestic views of the water and provides good exercise too.
Plenty of Casinos in Biloxi, even a smoke free one!
The beaches are beautiful and the sand white. They are cleaned and dressed each night to remove any debris. At this time of year they are almost people free!!
We had the pleasure to participate in "Mardi Gras" my first ever. So much fun, one more to cross off my bucket list!!!
We also had a an amazing 3 days in New Orleans. The Big Easy is a place that more than exceeded my expectations. So much to see and experience. The trip on the "Nachez" paddle steamer showed how busy this shipping area is, and the view s of the Hurricane damaged areas very enlightening. They are resilient people and will rise again, new and improved.
Our overall experience here in Jeannie's care was the best we have ever had (and we are repeat VRBO customers)
Please consider this as your heaven for a while!!

There is nothing like first timers at a Mardi Gras parade...I should know I couldn't stop screaming " Throw me some beads!"
