Affordable 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom perfect for a romantic getaway or small family. Cozy gas log stove in living room. Queen size sofa bed in the living room. Boat rentals across the road and close to everything Deep Creek Lake has to offer. The owners live in the area and manage the lake house property. The owners are members of the Garrett County Chamber of Commerce and the property is licensed by the County.

With over 90,000 acres of parks, lakes and publicly accessible forestland, it is no wonder Garrett County is considered Maryland's Mountain Top Playground. Garrett County's Autumn Glory festival was listed #1 Fall Festival by MSN.com and the Scottish Highland Festival in early June is another highly rated event. Deep Creek Lake has over 65 miles of shoreline and WISP Resort is Maryland's only alpine ski resort with nearly 120' of snowfall. The recirculating whitewater course at the Adventure Sports Center is for both amateur and professional rafters and kayakers. There are also smaller lakes to enjoy nonmotorized boats, swimming, fishing and picnicking. There are many nice restaurants nearby and two large facilities for indoor games, mini golf and go kart racing. Swallow Falls State Park has Muddy Creek Falls which is Maryland's highest free falling waterfall at 53 feet high. Several beautiful golf courses are available to the public.
