House is centrally located in a quiet neighborhood, convenient to beaches, harbor, wharf, parks, & shopping. Microclimate is sunny, warm & usually above the fog. Master bedroom is a spacious suite with a loft/office, vaulted ceilings, TV & private enclosed patio with Italian-style fountain. Master bath has a huge soaking tub. The gourmet kitchen has custom cabinets, granite counters & island with modern appliances including instant hot & filtered water. The large living room has a dramatic stone wood-burning fireplace, entertainment center, French doors, beveled glass & very comfortable furnishings with antiques scattered throughout. The garden is full of tropical plants, with fenced back yard & a large lawn. Pet friendly.

My house is extremely comfortable, spacious & relaxing. The location is very convenient, just a short distance to beaches & downtown but outside the noise & bustle of tourists & traffic. It is a safe family neighborhood. Once you're there you don't want to leave!

We rented this home for a long weekend and it was fantastic. It's located in a quite neighborhood and is a short drive to any of SB's attractions. The home was quite accomodating for my family of 3 and our dog. It had a well equiped kitchen and big comfortable couches in the living room. The back yard was plenty spacious, nicely landscaped, and the SPA was amazing. We hope to stay there again next time we visit SB.

Fantastic House

I had high expectations for this house, and my expectation were far exceeded! The photos do not do it justice. I stayed here for one week in September with my husband and in-laws. The back yard was absolutely lovely and the home was comfortable, clean, and very roomy. The kitchen was immaculate and very well stocked with cooking utensils, pots/pans, dishes, silverware etc. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet but only a couple minute drive to major grocery stores and plenty of restaurants. Everything in Santa Barbara is easily accessible and within 5-10 minutes driving. Communication with the owner was always easy and she was always quick to respond to my inquiries. I genuinely hope to return someday.

This is a great house close to everything you need in Santa Barbara, but far enough to be nice and quiet! Spacious and comfortable, much better than staying at a hotel. We liked the layout, and the jacuzzi was wonderful, though we had a hard time getting it started, due to inexperience. We enjoyed the fireplace and the cable and dvd player. The master bedroom has some surprises; including the fountain outside and the loft. The backyard has a nice grill, beautiful landscaping, and would likely be really nice in warm weather. The owner was responsive to all questions we had.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
