The extra large cushioned window seat sets the mood for relaxing in this large living room. Combine that with a comfy couch, cushioned rattan chairs with ottomans and a brick wood burning fireplace and you might just never want to leave. In less than 60 seconds you can be walking on the white sandy beach and combing the beach for shells and sand dollars.

Great place. couldnt have been better

we had a wonderful time and it was a wonderful home. It was the first time my parents saw the Pacific ocean seeing they are from Wisconsin. We gave them the master bedroom with the great view. They said it was a trip of a lifetime!!! they also got to spend time with our 3 children. the back bedroom was great for us seeing they had bunkbeds and a large comfy bed for us!! we were blessed with great weather!
thank you so much for sharing your home. we would love to come back next year and stay at your place again!!

Best in state vacation ever

What a great family vacation experience. Tide pools, candy shop, open beach with no one on it, and caves. My kids are usually outdoorsy, but never to this level. Have a young kid, it was great to be able to let them go down on the beach and be able to keep an eye on them while sitting on the deck with a glass of wine. Definitely had the best of both worlds in that respect. We also got to bring our dog with us which was very nice. The house fit all 7 of us comfortably, including in the living room. Had only one day with bad weather and we used that time to relax and we all brought books that we read. Very nice stay, no complaints here.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: Yes, it's great when the older kids can watch the younger ones on the beach and you can still keep an eye on everyone from the deck.

The View. Enough Said.

Just in case no one else has, I want to list off all the great details about this rental. First off, the house was very cozy and beachy. The view was absolutely incredible and was worth every extra dime I spent on this place. How often can you fall asleep and wake up and look out the window and see the ocean? Secondly, the house was well furnished and well stocked. We did not have any problems, and getting the Rental agreement was a piece of cake with the owner. Five stars, I would definitely rent from this owner again.

Could not think of a better way to spend our 20th

I rented this house for my anniversary with my wife, and had an amazing time. We were hit with some bad weather, but the house was amazing yet. Also with just a 5 minute drive to Cannon Beach we could avoid the wind at Arch Cape. Cannon Beach was a very nice town to walk through, good restaurants, fish markets, and the famous Bruce’s Candy Kitchen to satisfy my wife’s sweet tooth. Great stay, loved the view. Definitely would stay there again.

Owner's Response: Sometimes the wind can increase in the afternoon during the summer but that is when I break out the kites with the kids :-) Then we usually head to Bruce's Candy Kitchen in Cannon Beach to pick up some freshly made salt water taffy.

After my stay at the “Arch Cape Escape”, I can honestly say I don’t have any complaints. When booking my trip, I would have prefered that the house have direct beach access but once we got there, we realized that the beach access was so close that it didn’t matter. The deck was easily my favorite area of the house, and we spent quite a few hours out there. The living room also had a very comfy feel to it and the views from the window seats were glorious. The master bedroom has ocean front views, probably worth the couple extra bucks you put into renting this place instead of the houses behind it. I definitely plan to go back to this place again next year.
