Come to beautiful Sanibel Island to get away from it all in our beachy condo! The island has an east-west orientation, so it picks up the most amazing shells. You'll want to bring buckets to take them home! Our ground floor condo is recently renovated with an open floor plan, modern kitchen with icemaker, microwave, dishwasher and ample storage. The den is recently upgraded with a new flat-screen TV, & beautiful new porch enclosure. The master bedroom (with king-sized bed) also has a new flat-screen TV, and has a full bath for total privacy. The 'kid's room' has 2 single beds, a new flat-screen TV/DVD & full bath in the hallway. We've put together a guide book for our guests that ensures you'll be 'in the know' about everything to see and do in the area, including restaurant reviews! Just a short walk across the street to the beach, and you're in paradise! Don't miss our specials and take advantage of all the extras we offer -- even a beach cart to pull your beach gear to the beach! PLEASE NOTE: Our property is handled by Sanibel Holidays and all bookings must go through that office, so I cannot quote a total price or book this property personally for you. Please call 800-572-6423 or vacation@sanibelholiday.com. Ask for the reservations department and any of the helpful folks there can reserve the unit for you, collect your deposit and tell you the entire costs including taxes and fees.

About Cathy & Randy Lanier

We're Cathy & Randy Lanier and we live in Lexington, SC, but travel to our 'Little Slice of Paradise' as often as we can. Cathy owns a technology company and a company that supports kids' charities, and Randy works for our local county government -- we're both kind of IT geeks! We have 3 furkids (yorkies) and love the Sanibel beaches. We have such a huge collection of shells, we're running out of places for them all!

Why Cathy & Randy Lanier chose Sanibel Island

We chose Seashells of Sanibel because it was quiet, and a bit more protected in case of bad weather in the Gulf. It had many more amenities than some of the beach-front properties, and the rooms in the condo were larger than most. We try to spend about 3 months per year at the condo (anywhere from a week to a month at a time), so we wanted something that would be comfortable for extended stays. Our guests benefit from a fully stocked kitchen because Randy's also a chef, and he makes sure he has everything he needs in case he's in the mood for culinary creation!

What makes this condo unique

Our condo is unique in that we treat it more like our full-time home than a rental home. That means you should find everything you'll need in our 'home away from home' and won't feel like you've left anything behind! We love the restaurants on the island as well as the ones over in Ft. Myers (we're foodies), and Cathy loves shopping! You'll find a detailed booklet in our condo that fills you in on all the things you'll want to see, do and eat while you're visiting. Just follow the instructions there for flawless shelling and you'll be on 'island time' in no time at all! We even provide a beach cart to carry all your 'stuff' to the beach! We've just added 2 deluxe 'Panama Jack' cruiser bikes for our guests to enjoy -- it's truly the best way to see the island! Our only requirement is that you RELAX!

Excellent choice on Sanibel!

Our only complaint about this place is that we only had a week! Next time we need to stay longer! The condo was clean and comfortable. The beach gear was very useful. Location was excellent. We could easily get to the grocery store without traffic. It's a good spot from which to bike all over the island, which we did. The beach access path was a short walk, which made coming and going from the beach very easy. And it was never crowded. The kitchen was very well-stocked with any utensil you might ever need. We kept our meals pretty simple, but you could probably prepare Thanksgiving dinner in there. The condo is nicely decorated and worked well for relaxing at the end of the day. The ladies at the management company were very friendly and helpful and easy to work with. Everything here was fantastic, and we'd absolutely stay again!

  • Both bedrooms are very beachy decor. The master has a king-sized bed and has a private full bath with tub, shower, vanity and toilet. Both bedrooms have new flat-screen TVs with DVD players and plenty of closet space. Second bedroom has 2 twin beds, ample closet space, and a full bath just steps down the hall. There is a flat screen TV/DVD in the second bedroom as well. The den has a queen-sized fold-out sleeper sofa. All linens are provided, and there is ample for your stay. The unit is located on the ground floor of a 2 story complex.
