Beautiful home, newly furnished, great location! This gorgeous home is located in the Villages at Seabrook- across from the new Wellness facility and within walking distance to the Seabrook Tennis and Equestrian centers. In addition, we are located only 1 mile from the Freshfields shopping center along the newly completed bike path (no need to drive!). The kitchen is fully equipped with new stainless steel appliances and marble countertops. Hardwood floors throughout the lower level as well. This home is professionally decorated in a warm, inviting style- see the photos for yourself! Enjoy the wall-mounted TV, wireless internet or simply relax on the front porch in a quiet, turn of the century-style Charleston community. There is a king bed in the master bedroom, king bed in the upstairs guest, along with 2 queens in the other upstairs guest bedroom. Everything you need is here for you- adult and kids bikes, beach toys, gas grill, and even a ping pong table!

Fantastic Stay

We stayed here from 10/01/ - 10/04/09. Myself and my wife and 3 other couples came down for the ASU/Citadel football game. However, we had a very hard time leaving Seabrook. This home and location are fantastic. The house is super clean with lots of space for a large group of people. The beds are extremely comfortable and the kitchen has plenty of space. The wildlife at Seabrook is unbelievable. We saw tons of deer and an alligator. We will definitely stay here again.

The best vacation ever!

My family and I had the best vacation ever and Seabrook Island will be a regular vacation destination for years to come. We had never been to Seabrook Island but after talking with Brad I was sold on staying at his home. The home is beautiful, comfortable and well stocked with anything and everything. I have twin 14.5 month olds and it was great for them...they had a ball, especially in the basement running off all their energy. They have a red wagon that we took the boys out in several times to see the horses which we only a short walk away. Watching the deer on our back porch was breathtaking. We actually saw a 12 pointer!! We enjoyed driving around each day and night looking at the deer in the streets. LOVED the beach...we were the only ones on the beach...it was great to let the boys just run and play. My father-in-law always hated the beach until we came here...he is in love with it and is already thinking when we can come back next yr. Freshfields Village is right around the corner and has several great shops...King Street Grill has the best steaks ever! Red Sky Restaurant is right near by also and is great but I wouldn't bring your kids! Up the Creek is at the Marina...we ate on the deck and enjoyed the scenery (oh, make sure you bring your bug spray...bugs are horrible at night). We went to Charleston 3x (enjoyed the Angel Oak and the Middleton Place Plantation) and ate at Charleston Crab House which was the best seafood I've had in a long time. Overall, our trip was so wonderful and can't say enough about Brad's home. We definitely will be back next yr. It was by far the BEST vacation home we have ever stayed at!!!

Our week at Seabrook

Brad's home on Seabrook was a joy to be in with all the amenities one could need - from bikes to ride around the island in, to a table tennis table, chairs and floats for the beach and lots of room to cook in and relax. We thoroughly enjoyed the location because it was near a swimming pool and the lake where we rode the bikes a lot. Also the lovely place called Fresh Fields with its quaint shops and great market was only a bike ride away. Charleston was only a 1/2 hour away and so worth a visit. The island was so calm and quiet with the driving 25mph which lended to a slower pace. Everyone was so nice and friendly. All in all we felt so blessed to have been there. The beach is beautiful and unspoiled. A memory for a lifetime:)

Best week of the year!

One week's rental (in beautiful, comfortable home)..$$$$. Groceries, meats, snacks (and libations!)....$400. Digital camera (to capture all the good times had)....$250. Dinner at the new Seabrook Ocean Beach Club...$130. Transportation (including several trips to beautiful and historical Charleston)...$80. Sundries, sandpails and shovels (including lot's of suntan lotion)...$50. Smiles on all our tanned and rested faces....Priceless!

Can't wait to return to this picturesque and relaxing paradise. The house was as beautiful as the pictures discribed. A real home away from home. Loved the pillow topped mattresses (some of the best in the 10 years we've been coming to Seabrook). The "Village" private pool's provided a wonderful place for our little grandkid's (never crowded, just a short walk and relaxing). All of the new facilities and amentities that Seabrook are adding are wonderful. Weather was outstanding and nothing could have made our week stay any better. Thanks Brad and Denise for the use of your "lovely" home. Everything was four star!

Our 2nd Trip to this Great SBI House!

Our family has been vacationing at beach resorts in the Charleston area for several years. When we tried Seabrook Island we knew we had found a great location - but when we first rented here last year, we knew we were home!

This was our second year staying here. My mom came down from NY to join us and just loved the house and SBI. The home is spacious, beautifully decorated, well appointed and very comfortable. The owners stay here often so they have supplied it with everything you could need and have spared no expense. Take it from someone who rents exclusively from owners, this is a great rental property.

It is located in a friendly, quiet neighborhood (very little traffic) close to the equestrian center and only a few mintues drive or bike ride to the beach or club. Although the new fitness center has not opened yet, it is in this area and looks like it will be incredible. There is also a quiet neighborhood pool area.

Seabrook Island is a nature preserve. In addition to beautiful, clean beaches, there are countless wildlife to be spotted . . . pelicans, deer, foxes, bob cats, alligators, and all of course the dolphins swimming around the island. Add to that a completely renovated beach club with two pools and childrens activities, golf, tennis, horses, and quality Low Country living.

This home has bikes, beach toys and chairs. Best of all the little red wagoni for toting everything ot the beach. You won't have to drag all that along with you, it is all there.

Be sure to check out our favorite beach - North Beach. Walk all the way down towards Kiawah, in the inlet is where you find the best shells. Everyone here is friendly, the surf is rarely rough, safe for even the youngest kids.

Don't forget to check out the Angel Oak and some of the new restaurants that have opened such as Wild Olive and the Fat Hen. Best BBQ also in St. John's on Maybank Hwy JB's Smokehouse - try the buffet! Hege's at Freshfields is also very good. Be sure to visit Rosebank farms for fresh produce, fish and the petting zoo.
