This was a girls get away with 5 women who met in high school 30 yrs ago. We loved this house it had more then enough room for us. It was well maintainted and very clean. The house is located in a wooded area with beautiful flowers and plants in the yard. The stars at nite are beautiful. We enjoyed the screened in porch at nite by candle light. Having 3 bathooms was a great feature. We enjoyed hanging out listening to music and drinking wine, watching a girl's movie & making a craft keepsake. There is plenty to do in the area, we went to douglas for lunch and enjoyed the shops,we tasted wine at Fenn Valley winery, shopping in saugatauk, we spent sometime at oval beach and my personal favorite was michigan dunes which is a hike in the woods but worth the walk. (Don't wear flip flops like me) There are plenty of resturants on the water to enjoy the view. We went to the Mermaid, Butlers, and Wicker Park which has a bar with live music and excellent food. We also enjoyed apple picking at Crane's orchard , the apple cider donuts are amazing! I would highly recommend this house, it had everything you would need or want in a get away. This was my first visit to Michigan I hope to get back there soon. The web site is accurate take the time to look at the photos and the location on the map. The customer service was great and helpful with ideas on attractions, It would of been nice to have a later check out then 11:00 a.m. to give us a bit more leisure time but I understand its to get the house ready for the next guest. We were nervous about the weather for late Sept. but it was beautiful. Colors are just starting to change on the trees, the beach is wonderful. After labor day everything starts closing up which was a dissapointment since the weather is so lovely to be out walking around the town.
