The View from this new, immaculate apartment is beyond description. From your own private balcony and floor to ceiling windows, you can see the West and East sides from Harlem to Chelsea! Fully equipped kitchen, fine linens and original artwork grace this penthouse apartment conveniently located a short walk from Times Square, Lincoln Center, the Theater District and Columbus Circle. The neighborhood is safe and lively with 3 new wine bars, French pastry and many many wonderful restaurants just steps away. Order your dinner for delivery and enjoy the view from your own dining room after a cocktail on the balcony. Comfortable modern furniture including sofa bed in the living room, flat screen TV, VCR, marble bath, granite kitchen counters, cherry floors make this a bright and comfortable staging ground for your next get-away. My only problem with this apartment is that I never want to leave!:::::NOTE:::::If you see our pictures on the Craigslist, they are fraudulent!!

Car: not necessary
Walking around New York is my favorite pastime and this neighborhood is the perfect start for a ramble that could take you up to Harlem or downtown to SOHO. There is a bike path all around Manhattan just a few blocks away and numerous bike rental shops. The Theater district is a few blocks East-book a play or musical for your visit and have dinner in our neighborhood restaurants. Here you will find every type of food imaginable from 5 star to take out-all delicious and most, very affordable. You will find our neighborhood guide (that we have authored) in the apartment for your use. I love to stop by Lincoln Center or Carnegie Hall for last minute tickets that can be had for a bargain. If you are a shopper-you have come to the right place! From the unique shops in SOHO to the standard luxury stores on 5th AVE. you will find it here. If you get tired of walking-Taxis and car service cars are plentiful at any hour in our block. Lastly-you can feel safe in our neighborhood!

Everything you could ask for, seriously! Great open floor, comfortable furnishings, and views forever; pour your favorite libation and watch the sunset reflected in the forest of midtown towers. Walls of glass take advantage of the dizzying view, the night envelops with a million pinpoints of light, guiding you in the wee hours like a personal nightlite!
We enjoyed light breakfasts and a candlelit dinner for two on the private balcony, better ambiance than any restaurant could offer! Great restaurants on 9th ("Kashkaval" for wine and tapas), close to the subway, convenient bodega's, attentive and caring owners, look no further! A singular experience and one we will never forget!

I am writing this review as I sit in the condo. Have had good luck with VRBO in Santa Cruz, Maui and now NY. Condo is everthing as represented spectacular views and very comfortable. Great owners, could not figure out the TV they were here in 15 minutes to assist. Don't waste your money on a hotel stay here for the same price.
