Water Sports: The seven mile island offers bike routes, wide sandy beaches, rollerblading along the strip, tennis courts; both clay and hard court, two world class golf courses, beachcombing, and volley ball on the beach. The Isle of Palms Marina is a five acre marina offering launch service, dockage and fuel for resident and visiting boaters. It also provides services for those interested in on water activities and fishing services. For those who enjoy on water activities visit the marina for a variety of boating activities which includes: canoes, sailboats, kayaks, fishing boats luxury harbor cruises, Jet Skis can be rented to explore nearby islands. Fishermen can cast their own poles or nets while standing on the beach. Fishing and crabbing can be done in the local waters. Competitor fishermen can go down to the Isle of Palms Marina and check into one of the fishing tournaments often held at the docks.

Golf: Golfers will be in their element here, there are two fantastic courses, Harbor Course, which features three holes on the Intra-coastal Waterway and two marsh front finishing holes while The Links Course is ranked 26 among America's Top 75 Upscale Public Courses by Golf Digest. It features two holes with fantastic panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean! The townhouse has views of the Links course 15th green and 16th tee.

Wonderful place! Huge, beautifully decorated, inlet, marsh and golf course views. Golf cart available to carry all the stuff available (chairs, surf board, wet suit, umbrellas, ...) to the ocean. Bikes available. Lots of bike paths which are also great for walking. Wild Dunes is serene and tropical. Balcony overlooks the marsh where egrets and herons like to hang out. Leave Wild Dunes and the wonders of Charleston await. Landlord is very responsive. We had a great time!
