In Bayside, this newly renovated, garden cottage perches above Penobscot Bay, only 20 ft from the water's edge with spectacular 180 degree water views. It's called 'On the Rocks' but many call it the 'Boat House' because when the tide's in, it feels like you're surrounded by water.

Downstairs you'll enjoy an open plan -- kitchen, dining, living area with french doors opening to the deck, and one bathroom with shower, all with water views.

Off the kitchen is one sleeping 'berth.' The new washer/dryer is in the bathroom.

Upstairs you'll find 2 bedrooms, one queen, and two twins, and a half bath.

Wireless internet, dvd player, video player, garden patio area, private stairs to beach, private landing on beach.

Walk to historic Bayside Village, use the dock, and sandy beach with a full time lifeguard, tiny library, golf course, and playground or get out and explore Maine.

There is a dock and sandy beach just steps away with a full time lifeguard.

Right smack dab on Penobscot Bay. With views off to Belfast, Searsport, Castine, and Islesboro.

The islands of Islesboro, North Haven, Vinalhaven and even Monhegan are easily explored. Day trips to Acadia National Park, Northeast Harbor, Southwest Harbor, Blue Hill, Deer Isle, Port Clyde, Owls Head, Castine, Damariscotta, Hancock Point, Friendship, etc. are lots of fun.

You'll find a dock, a tiny honor library, a playground in Bayside plus a golf course! There's active live theater in the area, concerts at the Camden Opera House, art at the Farnsworth, (Wyeth) Colby, Bates and Bowdoin. The local Saturday sailboat races often 'come about' just in front of the cottage's deck.

Just steps away is a dock and a sandy beach, presided over by a full time lifeguard.

Some people come just for the local garden tours and some come just to look for antiques.

Gorgeous schooners will cruise by right in front of you. Some of the finest wooden boats are made locally. And you'll eat very well at all the local foodie destination restaurants, including lobster.

This cute cottage is right on the water. It is peaceful, with beautiful views in a picturesque Maine village. Lots to do in the area. Great location for day trips, or just relax and stay home. Very clean and well maintained. Equipped with everything we needed. Pure Maine fun!
