Huddleston House Rental Photos and Description
3 Bedrooms, 2 Full Bathrooms, Sleeps 6
On beautiful Smith Mountain Lake, Witcher Way Lakehouse is situated on the quiet, no wake, Cedar Key Cove of Witcher Creek just a short float away from the excitement and activity of the main lake. Relax and enjoy the views and tranquility of this Wildlife Preserve and protected State Forest area from the porch, the deck, or many of the windows of the new, open three-bedroom lake house. This light, airy and comfortable house sleeps up to six with two full baths, a lovely kitchen and great-room area over a basement level that sports a dart board, ping pong and air hockey tables, and leads out to a full patio that stretches the length of the house and overlooks the paved walkway to the boathouse and water.
Also see our website, www.witchercreek.com.
There is a paved pathway leading to the secluded deep water dock . Great for boating, fishing, swimming, jumping off the dock, or just relaxing and sun bathing.
Anglers should note that the cove is the Striper spawning area. Great Spring fishing here!

Why Brian Brenner chose Huddleston
We built this home to be a second home never really planning on renting it. It's built , furnished and decorated for comfort.
Read the comments and you will see this home is not set up with your typical 'rental home' furnishings .
What makes this house unique
The quite 'no wake' cove makes it great for swimming and the deep water is nice no matter the level of the lake. When you are ready for water sports the main channel of the lake is a 5 minute no wake boat ride away.
Guestbook comments from the owner
Dear 2011 Witcher Way Guests,
We are so grateful for all of your comments in our house guestbook. Since Home Away no longer allows guests to post online comments without registering their emails, we hope you won’t mind that we have transcribed them for online viewers to read. [and hope you’ll forgive any typos and errors to names!] We know that the path from the house to the water is the challenge for some guests and appreciate everyone’s good-natured comments! We too feel it is great exercise and worth the benefits of the deep, clear water a steep lot provides. New for owners and visitors alike this year is the fresh asphalt, which as of August, makes the walk much easier! Again, we thank our visitors for demonstrating their appreciation of the personal comforts we provide at Witcher Way by always treating it as gently as they would their own.
