Rental by Owner @ The Signature-Jr Suites-May Special $95 a night

This is a lovely little condo on the 36th floor, away from all the smoke and noise of the main part of the MGM. As others have said, it's quite a walk to the strip through the halls of the hotel. If you have trouble getting around, this is not for you.

Pros: Great view. Quiet. Parking is free. Nearby the strip, but not noisy. Wonderful shower. Smoke-free. Free wi-fi. Access to laundry room. Pools are very pretty. Good family environment.

Cons:
- Although we were aware this was rented separately from the rest of the hotel, the desk cannot help you with anything. All they'll do is hand you a card and tell you to call the rental company. We found that the after-hours number on the rental company card had been disconnected, and although we needed after-hours assistance, we could only email, and didn't receive a response until mid the next morning. This needs to be fixed.
- There is no information at all in the rooms re: where to put your trash, check-out info, where to get additional trash bags, etc. If you didn't bring your confirmation email (which doesn't include everything you need to know), you'll be in the dark. We've rented all over the world for years, and never had this experience. There should be a book in the room with information for the guests that includes everything you need to know.
- There were 4 in our party, as described in our reservation. However, there was not sufficient dishes or silverware for 4, just for 2. Thus, we had to wash dishes mid-meal and eat separately. This also needs to be fixed.
- Although the room was relatively clean, I wouldn't call it spotless. The bathroom was dusty, and the carpet wasn't well-vacuumed. We didn't pay for extra housekeeping, so we just put up with it for the week.
- Upon check-in, we were promised coffee/tea service daily, which was to include coffee filters, and packs of coffee and tea, plus sugar, creamer, etc. This was present when we checked in, and we also went to the store and bought our own coffee and creamer. The promised daily coffee service never happened. Mid-week, we did contact the rental company for more filters, and they brought them the next day - enough to last the rest of the week, and they never came back. If this is something you provide daily, you need to do so, otherwise don't promise it.

Bottom line - For Las Vegas, this is nice. There are opportunities for improvement, but we would likely stay here again. Thank you for the chance to provide comments.
