A vacation paradise!! This spacious log home is located on the south side of beautiful Black Lake in Northern Michigan. Perfect for the outdoor enthusiast since it is minutes away from ORV trails,18 hole 'World Class golf Course and local Race Track. Not to mention fishing right in front of the cottage.

Ideally situated, it is a 1 hour drive to the Macinac Bridge/Mackinac Island Tourist area. Also within 1 hour are 2 new Casinos featuring live entertainment and scheduled concerts with the top names in the music world. If you decide to stick close to the cottage, there is a gas/convenience store with homemade pizza and hand dipped icecream 1/2 mi. away. Located in a very quiet neighborhood so you won't have to worry about the kids playing on the sandy beach or in the yard. Double deep lots with plenty of off street parking for your car and boat. The State park is1/4 mi. away and has hiking trails and boat launch.

Black Lake is Michigan's 3rd largest inland lake. With it's sandy bottom and very light boat traffic, it is a very popular vacation destination. Minutes away from the Black Mountain Recreation Area, it is a favorite for ATV off-road riding and hikers alike. Trails are maintained by the State of Mich. Two Golf Courses, both with fine dining are also popular, along with the local Race Track/Speedway with 1/4 mi. asphalt oval track and motocross.

We had a wonderful time on Black Lake. The water was too cold to swim but the beach and dock were great. There was a large yard in front where the kids could play and a tree perfect for climbing. Wonderful activites not too far away. The house is just like the description, very comfortable! The owner's were so helpful and kind. we ate at the woodwinds cafe in Onaway best food we have had for breakfast lunch or dinner. Of course you can't go wrong with Dairy queen for dessert. we hope to stay there again!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
