it´s hard to know where to start enthusing about this beautiful holiday home. so let´s begin with the facts: beautifully appointed; fantastic and idyllic location; wonderful views; gorgeous grounds and gardens; excellently equipped kitchen; perfect spot for romance OR family hols (LOADS of toys, books and info material); amazing attention to detail and lets face it, it´s the little things that make a house so very special; lots of little extras such as fresh eggs, honey, pumkinseed oil, schnapps, jam, produce out of cottage garden all incl in the very reasonable price; you can have your breakfast rolls and local newspaper delivered early each morning; local high quality wines, beer, juices at cost in cellar; stunning scenery; prolific birdlife and wildlife; no visible neighbours; short drive to gourmet and/or family restaurants; local swimming pools; hiking; .....could go on and on....we had a truly wonderful holiday here and although there´s so much to see in this beautiful area we spent almost all our time in and around the house. gives us a very good reason to look forward to our next trip in septmeber 2010. many thanks to our wonderful and exceptionally accommodating hosts for making this one of our best ever holiday experiences. MOST HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Paradies in der Steiermark

Wie im Paradies kommt man sich vor, wenn man über die grünen Wiesen spaziert, den Ausblick auf die sanften Hügel genießt und die Ruhe und Stille eine verzaubernd. Ideal auch mit Kindern-wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen. Danke an der Stelle nochmal.....

Alle Jahre wieder lockt der Pilch Hiasl

Jedes Jahr wieder diskutieren wir heftig, das wievielte Mal wir nun schon den Pilch Hiasl besuchen, das 6. oder 7. oder doch schon 8. Mal? Egal, feststeht, ein Jahr ohne südsteirische Idylle, saftig grüne Wiesen, den herrlichen Blick hinunter ins Tal, die süffigen Verlockungen der Weinkeller, Ausflüge in die nahen Weinstraßen und entspannende Wanderungen bis über die slowenische Grenze, ein solches Jahr wäre nicht komplett.
Das Haus ist ein Musterbeispiel für sorgfältige Renovierung, ein harmonisches Zusammenspiel von Altem und Neuem, stets blitzblank sauber, die frischen Steirersemmeln hängen in der Früh an der Tür und die Terrasse und der Garten samt Liegestühlen machen mitunter jeden Aktivitätsplan zunichte. Was will man mehr?

Idyll am Waldrand

Direkt am Waldrand gelegen, ohne jegliche Nachbarn in Sichtweite bietet dieses sehr einfühlsam renovierte und auf aktuellen Stand gebrachte Haus, Ruhe und Erholung pur.
Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen sowie für Ausflüge zu den Weinbauern der Region.
Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet, die Lage sehr gut.
Das Frühstücksgebäck wird täglich frisch an die Haustüre geliefert, die Vermieter sind sehr zuvorkommend und haben ausserdem einen Ab-Hof-Verkauf mit Produkten wie Honig, Kernöl und Schnäpsen.
Ein Auto muß man allerdings schon haben, um dieses Haus zu erreichen!
