Family Reunion Vacation

Our extended family stayed at this beautiful property this past summer over the 4th of July week. It was wonderful for three generations, with plenty of space, bathrooms, and extremely family friendly. Being just a short walk down the hill to Lake Michigan, we spent a great deal of time at the beach. The outdoor space was phenomenal, with an arbored eating area just above a large deck which was cantilevered over the bluff above the lake.
The interior of the home was beautifully decorated, immaculate, with a fully equipped kitchen, games, books--literally everything we could possibly need for a totally enjoyable stay. We spent a great deal of time on the screened porch where the children played games and made crafts, while the adults often talked and caught up on reading.
Since the home is located a few minutes drive from Saugatuck/Douglas, it was easy access for lunch and shopping. Crane's Apple Orchard was close enough for us to get our "pie fix" several times during the week.
It was a wonderful way to connect with our Seattle relatives, and everyone agreed it was an extraordinary stay in a lovely setting.
Our only difficulty was almost no cell phone reception, but that was a small price to pay for the incredible time we had there. I would recommend this lovely property with no reservations.
