Situated on 1/2 acre in high desert, the views are spectacular. Only 40 minutes to Santa Fe and 15 minutes to downtown Albuquerque. Area abounds with cultural and outdoor activities. Weather is pleasant all year round.

The area offers diverse landscapes depending on which direction you look. Lush mountains border the east of the Rio Grande Valley. Walks and horseback rides along the Rio Granderiver offer countrylike setting. Sightseeing in the painted dessert views near the Indian Pueblos, and cliff dwelling from centuries ago in national parks are some of the few outdoor activities. Museums and art galleries are particular to this area, with a lot of southwestern art. You can ski in the morning and be just a short drive away from 65-70 degree weather. Fishing, hiking, biking and picnicking are available in parks all over the area. Albuquerque and Santa Fe offer a diversity of cultural activities.

This home was perfect for our needs. By the end of our stay, we were calling it home. My husband and I rented this property for a wedding we were attending in Rio Rancho. The parents and the aunt and uncle of the groom stayed with us. We cooked breakfast every morning and watch the balloons cross the morning sky. It was nice to come home to a family environment after a long day of being a tourist. The owner is a very nice man and easy to work with. I highly recommend this home to anyone planning to visit Albuquerque.

Wonderful home away from home.

The house was immaculate when we arrived and everything was as advertised. Located close to commuter train to Santa Fe and I-25. Downtown ABQ about 20 minutes away. Owner was very responsive to any questions we might have and took immediate action when a plumbing issue arose. If you want to enjoy both Albuquerque and Santa Fe, this is the place for you. Plus, a perfect yard for the dogs! I would also add that if you stay a long time and need to travel from ABQ, the airport is very nice, efficient and easy to get to.

The house was exactly as described. Great accommodations, very neat and clean, quiet neighborhood. Very large, secure backyard for pets. Location was good, easy commute to Albuquerque and/or Bernalillo and Santa Fe. Owner was very easy to work with. Recommended attractions: any Open Space area; Albuquerque Old Town; Petroglyph; Rio Grande Nature Center; Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks. Recommended restaurants: The Range Cafe; El Pinto; Church St. Cafe; for drinks, Silva's Saloon in Bernalillo....very cool! Would definitely recommend this property and would try to rent again on our next visit to New Mexico!

Lovely Home

This was our first stay in New Mexico. The pictures don't do the home justice. Everything in it is fresh and well maintained. I particularly enjoyed the well appointed kitchen with its high quality appliances. We thoroughly enjoyed the front and back porch during the mornings and evenings. The quiet neighborhood is fairly new with large homes and a lot of open space. We also liked our morning runs with the many rolling hills. We found groceries, restaurants, shopping and a fitness center no more than 10-15 minutes away. Hiking within a reasonable driving distance can be found at the Sandia Mountains and the Santa Fe National Forest. I would definitely recommend this home to friends who wish to visit this part of New Mexico. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great House

This is a great house in a great location. It has all the conveniences of home. We stayed for a month, and used it as home base for visiting family and friends. The half acre lot was ideal for our 50 lb. Dalmatian, and we appreciated being able to bring him. We enjoyed the front and back seating areas and used them a lot. There is also a great "pet resort" just five minutes away which we used numerous times. We would highly recommend this home.
