Lovely oceanfront home with all the amenities! Private, but yet close to beautiful Belfast harbor. The home has been completely upgrade with new modern kitchen, hardwood floors, and wonderful large porch overlooking the ocean all the way to Islesboro. There are new steps right to the beach, fire pit, barbeque, kayak, or just soak in the hot tub. Belfast has excellent restaurants, art galleries, and great shops. You will be totally relaxed, and just love the million dollar views!

Lobster, Change of Leaves, Hiking...

We had a nice quiet vacation in Belfast where we enjoyed the change of leaves, eating lots of Lobster, and hiking in nearby parks. The Owner provided excellent customer service and his home was very well maintained. The water was calm but too cold in October for the boats. Belfast was small and quiet, but not too much to offer. I would recommend many of the local restaurants, and there are some great places to hike. It's only about 1 hour to Bar Harbor (would make an outstanding motorcycle ride!) and less than an hour to other great hikes.

Memories that will last forever!

I was looking for a family vacation in the northeast, with great hospitality and out door adventure, I saw the add for this house and was automatically taken by it. I contacted Carl and made my reservations. My family and I planned a summer vacation in Maine and was excited to be going from California to Maine! I arrived at the house and met with Carl... I and my wife can't say enough about Carl!! He is a great guy and excellent host! The home was unbelievable!! The location and views were astounding! My wife and I are already wanting to make plans to stay there again next summer!! San Diego is beautiful....but when we stayed in Maine in this house...were ready to move there!! Can life really be this good? A word of advice to anyone who is planning on calling Carl... you better beat me to it!! haha! A vacation and home you will not forget!! Thanks again Carl for all your warmth and hospitality! You made our vacation stress free and was worth it all!!

A little slice of heaven....

This was one of the best houses that I've ever rented. Carl is a wonderful man to deal with. His home is beautiful and comfy. The use of the hot tub, the kayaks and the boat just took the vacation up to the next level of enjoyment. The house is right nearby to town; maybe 5 minutes away.
I will eagerly rent from him again next year, and can't wait for my next vacaion.
