This is a clean 2200 sq. ft. beautiful lakefront house is located in central/northern Michigan on all sports lake, Budd Lake. Only 2.5 hours from metro Detroit . Close by -Soaring Eagle Casino 30 min, Houghton Lake 30 min, Wilson State Park 5 min, Makinaw Island 2.5 hrs. Harison has 20 lakes within 20 min.

This home is located on a paved street surrounded by mature trees & flowers in gorgeous cobblestone flowerbeds, overlooking 200 acre all sports Budd Lake, perfect for swimming, skiing, fishing and boating. The main floor has 3 full bedrooms, Family room with TV and full bath. A door wall leads to a full upper deck with great lake views and sunsets. The finished walkout basement offers a full entertainment bar, Family Room , 50' Flatscreen TV, Kitchen and laundry room and full bath and large deck.

The beachside of the home has a small amount of steps leading to a sandy lg beach with a dock for fishing and boat parking. Pontoon/Speed / Paddle boat rental available 3rd party

There is also a beach firepit surrounded by chairs for a full viewing of the evening stars and sunsets.

150 Miles from Metro Detroit. Only a 2 1/2 hr. drive. Mt. Plesant Soaring Eagle Casino 30 min, Clare only 15 min. (Amish Festival in May and Aug.), Houghton Lake only 30 min, Macinaw Island 2 1/2 hrs, Wilson State Park located on Budd Lake with camping, beach, playground, picnic area and facilities. Clare County Fair Grounds located within 3 miles for annual Clare County Fair in Aug. Budd Lake Fishing Tournament held in June (Muskie and Bass). Lots of state land nearby for hunting, hiking, trail riding, etc. Several nearby golf courses and a local cider mill and trout farm.

We rented this cottage for the first time last year. The upgrades and improvements were GREAT with plenty of space for everybody. We took my family from Canada and it was the nicest most spacious cottage they had ever seen!!!(We used to own a cottage in Grand Bend, Ontario, Canada). My son caught plenty of fish off the dock and the neighbors were great as they took us out on their pontoon boat since we had not rented one. The bar and the kitchen on the main floor are great for entertaining, plenty of sleeping space upstairs for everybody to get away from the action downstairs. We will be returning to this cottage in July 2013 and Pam has been a wonderful host for us:)

We brought our family of 12 (parents, children & grandchildren)for a week of fun, sun, swim and fishing! Great place - lots of room for the kids to spread out - ample sleeping space (which is located all on one floor) so when the card games started no one was awaken in the wee hours of the night. We had wonderful campfires and caught a lot of fish right of the end of the dock. There were games for the kids and plenty of sand/water for them to play at the "beach".
The kitchen /family area was a huge area so that while cooking you could visit and keep up with the rest of the family. We rented the pontoon boat and that was a good time as they bring/pick up the boat and we enloyed many rides around the lake. This place is just a great place to go as clean, updated, lots of space and tasefully decorated. The hostess was wonderful and very attentive.Thanks again. The Goerlitz Family

WOW, What a Trip!

We had a very successful hunt. One dear taken opening day another taken the second day. The improvemnets to the home are FANTASTIC. We appreciate you allowing us to return and look forward to many more memories in the years to come.

Thank you for a great week. We enjoyed your lovely home and all the R&R was most welcomed! Caught so many fish. dozens of perch, bass and blue gills. The largest perch was 14" long. Thanks also for the warm sunshine, nice bonus for the week.

Thanks for a terrific week

Thank you so much for opening your beautiful home to us this past week. We absoultly love our stay. We greatly ejnoyed the beach area. It was so relaxing to just lay out and watch the kids playn in the water. Fishing was also a great time this week.
