Our family friendly and comfortable three bedroom, three bathroom, ocean view home is located within a few minutes walk to the beach and restaurants.
The kitchen is fully equipped. Direct access to the house from the attached two car garage. Private washer/dryer.
The 2nd level living room features cathedral ceilings, fireplace and balcony. Enjoy the ocean/sand view from the balcony. Four patio chairs and table provided.
In addition this level has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms.
The master bedroom level enjoys an ocean view and spacious bathroom with spa tub, shower, wet bar, and mini-refrigerator.
Every Friday the Farmers' Market from 12 noon to 4 pm, rain or shine. at Valley Drive between 8th and 10th Streets. Strawberries, tomatoes, squash, artichokes, asparagus and pistachios sold by certified farmers who grow the products at local farms. Sponsored by the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce

This property is located in Hermosa Beach, CA, just a short drive (10-15 minutes) from the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). This beach town is nestled in between Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach. It is centrally located and close (30-45 minutes) to Hollywood, Disneyland, Universal Studios. The Getty Center, Malibu and much more. It is about 2 hours or less to San Diego and Santa Barbara.
If you are looking for a fantastic getaway for a family, this is the perfect property. We had a baby and toddler with us, and we were so happy to find that the owners had furnished the house with the needs of a family with kids. The proximity to the beach can't be beat. This is one of the best deals in the area. Can't wait to go back!
Our party of 5 (including 3 teenagers) stayed here in Sept/Oct 2014. The booking process was very easy and handled extremely efficiently by Judy :-) The arrival process was also handled in the same way ... with very good directions and property access details provided in the days before our arrival.
The location of the property is wonderful ... walking distance to the beach and the coastal walking 'strip' ... and garage parking is a definite plus for this area. Also easy driving distance to all Tourist Attractions.
The bedrooms are lovely - all with their own bathroom - with very comfortable beds. Lounge and balcony are also very comfortable with plenty of comfortable seating for all. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need during your stay.
I would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation to anyone ... and only wish we'd had time for a longer stay :-)
This was a fabulous experience for my wife and myself to rendezvous with our cousins and spend 3 nights at this residence. Being multistory it affords a lot of privacy and space to enjoy. Being able to walk to Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach was a real plus too. Another nice feature is that it's only a short walk to the ocean, which we liked. We'd come back.
We (middle aged parents and two teenagers) LOVED this place. Everyone had their own bedroom and full bath. Lock code for entry to house and garage made it super simple - an no keys to pick-up/return/lose. The living room and porch were great for hanging out. EASY walk to beach and some wonderful restaurants. The owners supply so many things - it was an effortless stay - beach towels, boogie boards, bikes (and helmets!), beach chairs - even a jogging stroller if you need it. Upgraded appliances everywhere - LOVE having (very nice) washer and dryer in the super-spacious garage. There is no air-conditioning, but except at the peak daytime heat of mid-afternoon - that wasn't an issue - great ocean breeze throughout the house. Like all of Hermosa, the houses are stacked on top of each other - so you need to be respectful of early morning/late evening noise - or else you will audibly share with your neighbors. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Owners very good to deal with too! (And they are local, which is handy if you need anything - which we did not)
What an amazing stay we had! We had our 4 teens with us and we all had plenty of space, enough bikes to ride on the boardwalk and great little restaurants within walking distance.
The house is in a great location. Walking distance to Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach. Plenty of nearby grocery stores to stock up for our stay.
We had such a great time we ended up forgetting our last day was really our last day! Judi was so gracious to give us an additional hour to gather up our things so the cleaning people could get it ready for the next family coming in. We definitely will keep this location in our places to visit again.
We had a great time in Hermosa and the house Judi rented us was perfect. The house was located within a couple blocks of the beach and also walking distance to several restaurants. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with many essentials so all you had to do was show up with your luggage, a few snacks and drinks; no hassles with making trips to the convenience store. The two car garage also made it easy to park the rental. We recommend this place and would stay here again.
We had a wonderful vacation and this rental home had everything to make our week enjoyable! The owners were very responsive and thoughtful and the home was very well appointed in every way!
This ocean view, family friendly home is within a short walk to the beach, parks, restaurants, grocery stores, and Hermosa or Redondo Piers. Enjoy the bike path with the bicycles provided, or jog along the 'green belt'.
