CUSTOMER REVIEW: 'Can't say enough about this home and location! Anita’s hospitality began even before we arrived. We called her from the airport and told her we would be stopping for supper on the way from Phoenix. She suggested the perfect place as a welcome to the southwest! The Road Runner Steak House in New River was just off the highway and a great place to unwind after a long flight. Then on to Cottonwood……. Wow! This home was even better than we expected! Gorgeous and spacious sums it up! Anita greeted us with fresh baked brownies. Fresh roses were on the table from the beautiful rose bushes that adorn this property. The home is inviting, well maintained and beyond comfortable. We stayed a week while visiting Sedona, Jerome, Cottonwood and The Grand Canyon. What a great location! Sedona is just a short scenic drive and The Grand Canyon is an easy day trip. It was so nice to come 'home' to a quiet, spacious, peaceful abode after a busy day of sightseeing. We were able to prepare meals in the well equipped, spacious kitchen and eat on the private, gorgeous patio while watching the horses graze in the adjoining field. If that wasn't enough to keep us spell bound and entertained we could watch the graceful Herons that were nesting in the nearby trees! There are two living rooms so us girls could plan our next day’s activities in one while the guys watched TV from comfy overstuffed furniture in the other room. This was a vacation of a lifetime. Don’t hesitate. (The Verde Railroad scenic ride through the valley should not be missed as well as the numerous State Parks. Don’t miss Slide Rock State Park and the Indian Ruins at Montezuma’s Castle) .'

Grand Canyon Visitors! Treat yourself to this gracious and elegant home in the tall trees and abundant greenery a block away from the Verde River. Close to the famous Red Rocks of Sedona (15 mi.), this quiet and pastoral home gives you access to numerous sightseeing adventures in Sedona while providing the peace of a rural setting to come home to. Wake to birds chirping and horses grazing in the back pasture. See blue herons winging south to their rookery, and colorful sunsets painting the sky and Mingus Mountain. Or explore the red rocks formations, visit the ghost town of Jerome, hike to the Native American ruins such as Tuzigoot and Montezuma’s Well, ride the Verde Canyon train, enjoy fishing at Dead Horse Ranch State Park, or drive through beautiful Oak Creek Canyon – you’ll be centrally located for it all.

This home was exactly as described and pictured. Anita was a wonderful host and explained how all amenities worked and provided great attraction information.
She also greeted us with delicious warm brownies before leaving us to enjoy her
private and spacious home. The home was also immaculate and well maintained.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the serenity and peaceful back yard with covered patio and mountains, horses, and cows in the far back pasture. Lovely and quiet to sit outside in the mornings and evenings and enjoy the very pretty views and trees. The front yard was also very private and pretty as pictured. We were very impressed with all amenities. Every room had every necessity, and amenity you would ever need. Supreme comfort including wonderful beds with great mattresses for a great night's sleep. We enjoyed the close restaurants and activities to include horseback riding, hiking and short drive to Sedona. Nate's
cowboy cafe, Tavern Grill (Old Town Cottonwood), and Georgies were close and
wonderful restaurants.. Many other good ones also close by and shopping also close. Overall, our stay was relaxing, quiet, serene, and beautiful Thank you Anita! We hope to return in the future and appreciate your kindness and lovely home. Mary M.

We just returned from an eight night stay at this home and we had an amazing time. Anita was there to greet us and house smelled wonderful from brownies baking. The house is warm and charming and it had everything we needed. Anita is very thoughtful as she leaves all the essentials and niceties there for the guests. The house is very clean and the bedrooms/bathrooms are very spacious. The living area is fantastic and the fireplace warmed up the living space and made it very cozy. The kitchen is very well equipped with dishes and utensils. The home is a perfect location for major attractions such as Grand Canyon, Montezuma Castle, Sedona, etc. It is a great place to come back to after a day of sightseeing. We brought wonderful memories back and will certainly consider renting this house again.

The home is spacious and sparkling clean. Great layout. Good central location midway between Phoenix and Grand Canyon made day trips possible in either direction. We also spent time in Sedona and Jerome.
So nice to have a large kitchen and laundry facilities. Home is in a nice residential neighborhood with private backyard.

Lovely and peaceful!

My husband and I stayed at this lovely home for the month of February. It was our first winter getaway, and we couldn’t have chosen better! Anita was a very congenial host, and the spacious home allowed us plenty of room to entertain family visitors. With the large, well-appointed kitchen and its long dining table, we could easily make and serve meals and enjoy lively card games afterward. We were within easy driving distance of many interesting sites and took several side trips with our visitors, going to Sedona, Flagstaff and Prescott. We also visited historic sites, including the 1870’s copper-mining town of Jerome as well as the 12th century sites of Montezuma Castle and Montezuma Well. Most delightful of all was the relaxing semi-rural neighborhood with my kitchen view of pasture and horses, the gurgling of water in the Verde River, the bubbly cacophony of of flocks of red-wing black birds, the soft lowing of cattle, and the friendly waves from neighbors driving by.

Wonderful Christmas Vacation!

What a wonderful home to celebrate Christmas in as our "home away from home." We not only loved the home but also the location! Cottonwood is centrally located to see and experience it all and that included Sedona, Jerome, Grand Canyon and "Old Town Cottonwood." We loved walking through Old Town Cottonwood shopping, eating & wine and beer tasting. The community could not have been more friendly and welcoming!
