With WIFI, lazy river and a location in the private and very desirable Windy Hill section of North Myrtle Beach, SC. you have found the perfect vacation! This beautiful condo overlooks a wide expanse of beautiful beachfront from a large deck spanning both the living room and master bedroom, the view makes it hard to believe you are in the heart of NMB and close to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Professionally decorated in a casual beach decor this condo has been meticulously maintained and includes all the amenities of home. From the inviting kitchen with all appliances (including a washer and dryer) to the comfortable furniture you will feel at home and at ease from the first moment you enter the foyer. And you will be delighted with the private skywalk to the building's parking deck. Amenities include pool, lazy river, hot tub, grilling patio and lawn games. Building staff is cordial and helpful. Local restaurants and shopping is plentiful with barefoot landing across HWY 17

Local Attractions: Barefoot Landing: With dining, shopping and fun built around a lake, barefoot landing is a 5 minute drive. Alabama Theatre, House of Blues and the Crab House are just the beginning of your evening's options! Shopping is plentiful for kids and adults alike. Check out our building's third floor walkway office for a complete selection of brochures to area attractions including amusement parks, nightly shows at a large selection of theaters and lots of kid friendly activities.

Broadway At the Beach: 20 minutes on 17 south you will love this area for the aquarium ( holiday visits feature Christmas trees representing all 50 states), the nightly amazing fireworks show and a large number of restaurants and retail shopping choices. Beautifully done complex....really large it will take more than 1 visit to do it all. Plus Hard Rock cafe, go carts, and theaters are close by.

Golf for little kids & big kids..: Many putt putt courses. Try the one 10 minutes north on 17 next to Bonefish Grill, which is by the way the local favorite restaurant and it is simply great. Go early or late its packed even off season and for good reason!

Big kid golf? 100 courses and many are spectacular. The Witch is notorious.

Water Activities: With kids our first stop is always a visit with the lifeguard stationed in front of our building. A review of safety rules and regulations is first and the lifeguards have suggestions. Our favorite section of beach is to the right of the lifeguard but ask him for current best area. The banana boat, parasailing and other water craft are available too.

Beach walks seem to be preferred either early morning or late day, the pier walk is to the North and a bit of a hike. Shell gathering is best in the early morning when the tide is out. The pools are open and cleaned daily in the early morning. The building staff is helpful and friendly, too. Staffing is 24 hours with security a priority. Parking is also secure with a glass walkway to the parking garage from the building.

Why W. Miller chose Windy Hill

I grew up on a farm in Virginia. As secluded as it was, our parents made the beach an annual June priority and our one vacation of the year. They discovered and made the South Carolina Beaches their destination for many years. The Windy Hill Section of North Myrtle Beach is simply our favorite of all of the South Carolina beaches. Amazing views and a beautiful wide beach with incredible sunrises, typically gentle surf and clean white sand. The condo amazed us after looking at others. It was immaculate as a family's second home. Professionally decorated and warmly so in a casual comfortable style. We prioritize keeping it that way and want our guests to enjoy it as we do!

Windy Hill is a private section of beach, meaning that the streets are closed to traffic from the beaches to the north or south. You won't hear loud motorcycles or cars at all hours here. The beach itself is simply beautiful...wide beaches with gorgeous sunsets. The guests on this beach are mostly families with many permanent residents. Up early? You will see people out for walks with their dogs or joggers getting in an early run. The lifeguards here are friendly and helpful. If traffic is a concern you will love this area because a wonderful complex of shops, restaurants and entertainment is just across hwy 17. Barefoot Landing will give you many options for food and fun without sitting in hwy traffic. Also nearby: many impressive miniature golf courses, Bonefish, a restaurant favorite of the local crowd (so go early) and superb outlet shopping! Spending a night in the condo? This lovely gem is kept like a home and not a worn rental. Upgrades are consistent and our contractor spends a week in the off season updating for us. Our kitchen is stocked with utensils, games and puzzles are plentiful and there are TVs with cable in every bedroom. The building is also meticulously kept.Our lounge furniture is new as of last summer. Our great staff cleans the pool and grills daily in the very early morning. Maintenance is ongoing and the amenities are kept like the treasures they are. Parking is in our private deck, just across the street and accessible via a skybridge walkway. We have one of only a couple of walkways of this type ever allowed in North Myrtle. With only 18 floors we are small enough to be exclusive and large enough to offer an adult pool, children's pool, hot tub and lazy river in addition to beautiful grilling patios, a bridge over the dunes to the beach and even outdoor showers artfully disguised as palm trees. Enjoy a wonderful week or more with us, many of our guests return again and again. New in the condo: paint colors, new furniture and accessory pieces and light fixtures.

My wife and kids and I stayed at this condo in July. We had a wonderful time. As the other review said, everything mentioned about this condo is spot on. It is a great place to be for a family. The condo was particularly nice, very clean, tastefully furnished, quiet and comfortable. Anything you want to do is really just minutes away and easily accessible. My wife had two friends visit for a couple of nights and we were cheerily provided an additional parking pass. A great thing is the awesome grilling areas they provide which were available for all and allowed me to provide the crew with some great grilled seafood. We will surely be back for our next beach getaway!

Perfect getaway location

This is a beautiful chaming property, that provides a great place to relax at the beach. After only a few hours, you feel like your home.

The furniture is very comfortable and the colors are fun with out being over the top. The best part is the location, you can watch the beach and hear the surf. This is a beach condo that certianly makes you feel like your at the beach.

You're only a short drive away from all types of restaurants and places to shop. the only problem is that you have to leave the location.

This unit is exceptionally clean and has everything you need to enjoy your visit to the beach, I will staying here again, no doubt.

The covered walkway provides an easy way to reach the condo from the parking lot without even have to walk across the street. To be honest that wouldn't be problem becuase there is very little traffic on the street side of the condo.

Comfortable beds, furniture, great ocean view, pool and lazy river what's there not to like.

As the owners of this treasured getaway, thank you for your comments and wonderful reviews. In the off season we improve and update and add elements with your suggestions in mind. For instance new furniture in one of the bedrooms adds more storage for guests. Twice a year we have our contractor and friend there for a week and he works on our current wish list. Those that haven't been in a summer two will love what they see this time around. Thanks again for choosing this truly charming place and we wish all of you wonderful vacations at the beach!

The condo was tastefully decorated and warm. Had everything we needed except the bedroom with 2 beds in it does not have any dressers.
The staff was very friendly. The visitors and owners were fun and helpful. We enjoyed our vacation very much. Would love to come again!! Wanda was exceptional and a pleasure to do business with easy and smooth transaction. Can't wait till next summer

Plenty of space, well outfitted, right on the beach, everything worked properly. Could not have asked for a better experience! I would definitely recommend to a friend. The only thing I was not aware of was that the pool may require bracelets for identification but no one asked while we were there, and also we were not aware that we could not park our boat overnight in parking lot. That is probably pretty common in that area and we just were not aware of it.
