The original farmhouse on Indian Point, now a private preserve with miles of walking paths, beaches, tidal sand flats, or fishing from rocky shores. While in Georgetown, enjoy a visit to Reid State Park, dine on lobster at the Wharf at Five Islands, visit Georgetown Pottery, and enjoy a wonderful meal at the Robinhood Free Meetinghouse with well-known chef, Michael Gagne. The town of Georgetown is just 20 minutes from quaint downtown Bath with wonderful antiques, shopping and dining and Boothbay Harbor is just an hour north. A short drive to the south brings you to Freeport, for outlet shopping, and Brunswick, the home of Bowdoin College. Portland is less than an hour away.

Notes: The original farmhouse has been expanded for comfortable living of today. The large, open kitchen/ dining/family room is a wonderful place for guests to gather and enjoy the beautiful view. Many a wiffle ball game has been played on the large lawn area and the swing set can easily be seen from the comfort of the deck!

Lovely property, clearly beloved by the owners. The house consisted of a quaint old farmhouse with a modern house attached. Felt like separate wings of a house. It gave grown-ups and teens separate places to convene. Helpful if you operate on different body clocks! Community beaches were a treat to visit, as were Reid State Park and Five Islands.
