The open living room and loft areas offer beautiful views of the lake and surrounding scenery. And you can canoe right from the back dock! This home will be a memorable retreat for any family. Additional information about rental rates

  • Summer Rentals are based on 1 week stays (limited exceptions). All other rentals are 3 night min.
    Additional fees $150/wk or $125/wknd (home cleaning & community rent fee).

    We accept Personal Checks.

    Renters are required to pay a $500 nonrefundable deposit to hold reservation. The balance of the rental, an addtional $500* refundable security deposit and the cleaning/community fees are all to be paid in full at least 1 month prior to arrival.

    *The refundable security deposit of $500 will be returned within 30 days and only after the cleaning/maintenance staff has declared that the home and the property of the home has been left in the same condition as prior to the rental.
  • Due to community regulations as well as processing procedures all rentals agreement must be signed at least 1 month in advance.

Notes: Enjoy the paddle boat and 2 kayaks/canoes. Also the upper deck offers a picnic table, 2 chairs (1 lounge and 1 reg) with cushions, additional seating surrounds deck railings. Below the upper deck is a patio table with 8 chairs. Also available are 2 folding/resin Adirondack chairs. As we want our guests to relax and enjoy themselves we do request that whatever is used is put back in it's place. This keeps our maintenance charges to a minimum allowing our rentals rates to be reasonable.

Renter Requirements : Renters must provide a photocopy of a valid drivers license and must be at least 30 years (age exceptions are families with children). Absolutely no: Fraternity or Sorority organizations, smoking, fireworks or pets.

WLE Community & The Big Lake: Offers an indoor heated pool as well as an outdoor pool, a beach area, small boat access, lodge, tennis, fishing, and so much more. Your vacation fun has just begun! Visit our local Walmart for fishing licenses - a must or penalties are costly! Also available is boat launching access to Lake Wallenpaupack! WLE Community homeowners have lake rights to the big lake. Renters must display the community pass to enjoy the the big lake as well.

Attractions: With so many places to visit - it's hard to name them all but here goes... Bushkill Falls Claws-N-Paws (Up The Road) Steamtown Mall - Scranton A Grand Movie Theatre -Moosic, PA Bird Sanctuary Alpine Restaurant Patsels Restaurant The Boathouse

Ski: Winter Joy in Northeast PA Sno Mountain (previously Montage Mountain) – A great place to visit, a lot of renovations, has a future of being a grand winter ski area and summer water park (complete with spa and water rides!). Elk Mountain - Have not tried yet, but it is said to be a decent ski area. Comes highly recommend. Break up the winter blues with a visit to the Crystal Cabin Fever event runs usually mid Feb - early Mar.
