All you need for a relaxing holiday - for two persons

We arrived to the beautiful and sunny Santa Ynez valley from a dull English winter, late October 2012. The property was immaculate and very clean in all aspects. Anyone that has been in the Santa Ynez valley before will know that the setting in a vineyard, close to the river in addition to very quiet have all the ingredients to create a wonderful vacation.

Upon arrival we knew at once that this was the property we investigated on the website. Everything was as expected regarding rooms and facilities.

Since we was staying for more than one month Ramon was very helpful in fixing any requests we had, and was very attentive to our need for additional amenities such as WiFi internet access and TV.

We have no problems in recommending this property to any couple who wants to get away from it all, and have a quiet and romantic time.

Gorgeous, well-equipped vineyard cottage

The cottage is in a private, beautiful location just a few minutes from downtown Santa Ynez. The cottage is well-decorated with a beautiful bathroom with a copper counter top and a gorgeous kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Mexican tile throughout gives the house a punch of California style.

Calm and quiet escape from the city

The cottage was clean and comfortable. We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and this was a perfect escape. At night you could only hear the owls, coyotes, frogs, and crickets. The night sky was amazing, a big contrast from the city sky. During the day, it was nice to just sit out on the back patio and relax. This is a one bedroom cottage, but has the all the necessary amenities of home. City of Santa Ynez is just minutes away, as is Solvang. I was there to golf at the Alisal and am glad we stayed here instead of one of the city Inns. Make sure to try the Meadowlark Syrah, They also have a cabernet, but I haven't tried it yet, I'm still enjoying on the syrah!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
