Known as Pinecone Cabin - Private, waterfront luxury cottage with outdoor hot tub on the beautiful north shore of Orcas. Vast views to Canada, the coastal mountains, ski resorts' lights and islands. New, upscale Pacific-Northwest lodge-style furnishings. Quality through-out! Upstairs, two master bedroom suites with balconies and bathrooms. Eagles in your front yard and salmon at your feet with good trail to private beach. Perfect for shell and driftwood hunters. Four miles from East sound. Buoy, no dingy. Two sets of washers/dryers. Covered porch with hot tub and three skylights. Open deck on the ocean view side. No pets allowed.

  • The first upstairs bedroom offers a king bed, dressers, two night stands, TV, balcony, sitting bench, electric fireplace/wood stove and gorgeous views. The furniture is Amish-made cherry and maple. The second upstairs bedroom offers a king bed, dresser, three nights stands, TV. occasional rocking chair, balcony, and fantastic ocean views. The furniture is Amish-made hickory. The third upstairs sleeping area adjoins the west bedroom and holds a bunk bed = 2 twins, chest of drawers, TV for VHS movie, and CD player - a great place for children that parents want nearby. There is a pocket door that closes between the bedroom suite and the bunk bed sleeping alcove. There are two baths upstairs and one full and a half downstairs. Downstairs, the fourth bedroom offers a king bed, dresser, two nightstands, TV and adjoining bathroom with sink, toilet and tub/shower. The fifth bedroom down = 1 queen bed, dresser, one nightstand and is called the Fishing bedroom. Bath in hall.

Waterfront Details: This lovely, Orcas Island house is waterfront with an easy trail to the beach which runs diagonally down in front of the house. Fondly called Pine Cone Cabin due to the charming pinecone theme through-out. The beach is gravel with driftwood. Shells can be found. Privacy is great at this location with one part time immediate neighbor, yet the house is only four miles from Eastsound for easy access to restaurants, stores, groceries, etc.

House information: No shoes allowed inside on carpeting. A Non-smoking facility. Woodstove with wood, provided. Beautiful and interesting artwork fills the house walls. Bookcase of books is provided plus a selection of reading specifically about island life.
