The Creekwood community:
We are located equidistant from the ocean and 5 Points, intersection of rts. 1, 9, and 404. There are 2 bikes available for guest to use, but we recommend they are used on the grounds only. It is an ambitious bike ride to the beach; only 3 miles, but some of it along route 1, which is not bike friendly. The Rehoboth Diner is located just at the edge of the property and is open 24/7.
Outlet shopping:
Outlet shopping is up and down route 1. It is best to drive, but energetic shoppers looking to avoid parking hassles will find the closest outlets about 1 mile south on our side of rt. 1.
Beaches:
Downtown Rehoboth Beach can be crowded. If you want a beach experience and don't require shops also, we recommend the Delaware State Park beaches. They are beautiful and have plenty of parking. Henlopen is located to the north of town. Several others are south of Rehoboth and Dewey. Bayside parks are great for clamming and crabbing, or for kids who want to get wet but don't like the ocean.
Golf:
Numerous golf courses line Route 1 north of Rehoboth, and many more are south of town, and in nearby Maryland.
