Our stay at the beautiful "Lai Nani" was absolutely perfect! There are 3 bungalows to choose from and any of the 3 will accomadate your every whim. We stayed in the one straight down the driveway and enjoyed the spectacular views from our very own patio. The bungalow is very tastefully and beautifully decorated and will bring you nothing but comfort and a smile! it is very clean and gives you enough room to sprawl out with all of the wonderful things that you will want to purchase and take home with you! The pool and hot tub are gorgeous and relaxing after a long day of fun and the waterfall and sound of the ocean are guaranteed to lull you off into a restful and deep sleep! Cleanliness and quality are important to us and we were not dissapointed.
Gary greeted us often each day with genuine hospitality and kindness and took care of any need that we had. He was informative about the island and gave us a lot of ideas about how to make the most out of our time on the island.
"Lai Nani" is located on the beautiful Hamakua Coastline and is in such a conveinient place. There are gardens right accross the road, Kona is close, but then again, you are closer to Hilo.
My husband is from the Big Island and we often choose to go to places that are not your typical, well known attractions. We were in the perfect location! Away, yet close.
We would (and have) recommended "Lai Nani" to anyone who asks us where to stay on the Bid Island. You can't go wrong if you enjoy privacy in a beautiful setting with a hostpitable host and hostess!
