About Becky Walker

My wife and I have been coming to Hilton Head for 20+ years and we have loved it ever since we laid eyes on it. So we decided to buy this wonderful property about 5 years ago and we are so happy that we did. We have done numerous upgrades since we bought it and really want our guest to feel as though they are staying in a luxury resort when they come to visit. Enjoy, because we certainly do!

HIlton Head Island is one of very few true paradise islands within the US borders. It is in a great central location that experiences all four seasons of the year, is easy to get to and even at the height of the tourist season you never feel crowded. Hilton Head has so many wonderful world class amenities including golf, tennis, beaches, restaurants and shopping. There are so many things for each family member to do here and being within Palmetto Dunes Resort, you never have to even get in your car, its all right outside of your door.

There are 3 miles of pristine wide beaches, there are 3 golf courses, over 20 tennis courts at one of the country's top rated tennis centers, 2 oceanfront resorts that are open for your enjoyment for spa treatments, kids activities, lunch/dinner or just cocktails, there is an onsite general store, onsite bike rentals as well as kayak and canoes for the 11 mile salt water lagoon which is also great for fishing. WOW...is there anything this place DOES NOT have??? Oh... there is also a marina and a shopping mall!!

Our 2514 Villamare condo is on the 5th floor and

located in the Palmetto Dunes Resort. There is a

fitness center w/indoor heated pool just steps away.

The balcony overlooks a lagoon with turtles and island birds for the children to enjoy. The walk to the beach is less than three minutes. The condo is easily acceptable from the parking deck via elevator.

Palmetto Dunes is a great plantation and located midway of the island. There is an ocean front pool,

biking paths, restaurants, a bike rental shop, and even a general store to purchase those small items, i.e. ice, beverages, a newspaper, and even lunch.

Shelter Cove is a part of Palmetto Dunes where there

is a marina, shops and restaurants. You can even

hire a boat to take you crabing or just tour the island

from the water point of view.

We had a great time. Condo was clean and comfortable. It had all of the upgraded amenities that we needed. A very short walk to the pool and beach, especially since we are dragging 3 kids behind us. The condo is also on the top floor, so we didn't hear any distracting stomping from above.

My husband and two teenage daughters stayed here in August 2011 and really enjoyed this lovely and clean condo. It is more spacious and updated than the pictures on the website. The location was excellent because it was quiet and convenient to the exercise room and street to walk to the bike rentals and general store. A bit of a walk to the pool and beach but the path is beautifully landscaped with a pond that is full of turtles you can feed. Really enjoyed staying at the Villa Mare. Would definitely stay here again.

Property #63766 was the best condo we have ever stayed in on HHI (and we have been coming yearly for the past 8 years)! The condo was beautifully decorated, very well organized, and extremely clean. It was nice to have directions for the dvd player, listings easily accessible for the tv, very comfortable furniture and beds, laundry detergent readily available with new and quiet appliances, and FREE tennis. Loved the proximity to the fitness center, which we used daily. The price for the condo was very reasonable, especially for this pristine and newly updated condo. Keyless entry was also a very nice feature. Kudos to the owners and management company...you were very helpful. Thanks for the treat of staying at your condo!
