Luxury yet perfect for a family

My extended family of 11 has stayed here two years in a row. It is an amazing house and PERFECT for a big family vacation. My parents had the downstairs bedroom and private bath and there was plenty of room upstairs in the other bedrooms for the other three families. Two bedrooms have built-in bunks plus regular beds and the rooms are really big! The upstairs master is like an apartment in and of itself. We loved that there were so many family living spaces because we could all have our own space and never felt on top of each other. The views are amazing, and the proximity to all the restaurants, shops and bars in Fenwick cannot be beat. Fenwick is a great little town. Quaint beach town but none of the hustle of Ocean City or Rehoboth, yet all the other towns are so close. You really don't need to get in your car after you arrive in this house, except maybe for a grocery trip.
This was also a great house for my father, who uses a walker because there is a ramp that goes up the side of the house, making it very accessible for elderly or the handicapped.
Despite his limited mobility he didn't feel that he missed a bit of the action because we were right on the beach.
The house is very clean, beautifully decorated and very livable.
Can't wait until next year to go back!
Owner's Response: Thanks for the kind words! I'm glad you mentioned the suitability of the house for elders or people with mobility issues. There is a second master bedroom on the "main level" of the house. This room is directly off the "family room" and on the same level as the kitchen, living room, dining room, and kitchen, as well as two large decks, one that overlooks the beach, and the other that overlooks the street. This means that guests who prefer not to navigate the stairs can pretty much hang on one level and not miss out on any of the fun.
The listing here on Homeaway includes a "virtual tour" of the home with photos and a very clear floor plan that will give a better idea of the set up ... useful for planning who can sleep where.
