Erika was waiting for us at the Rialto stop. She tooks to the apartment and nicely explain everything. We found the apartment clean and in order. The kitchen is cleverly hidden behind doors, but I cannot imagine actually cooking any meals in there, it was tiny, but it was ok for preparing breakfast. Location is perfect, vaporetto station nearby, supermarket, the produce market 10 minutes walking on the other side of the river. For longer stays it would have been difficult since there are no closets or shelves, but for three days we were ok living out of the suitcases. Bathrooms were well sized with space to put things. Washing machine worked well. No curtains in the living area, so whoever sleeps there in the Summer will wake up early with the light. Overall it was a nice stay, and I will recommend it for couples or three people travelling together.

We were met and shown to our apartment as promised. Information including books, maps and good eating spots were really helpful. Complimentary bottle of Preseco an added bonus! The accommodation was suitable for our family of 4, however the couch looked cleaner than the pull out trundle underneath it. We only stayed 2 nights so hanging space / storage for clothes wasn't really an issue - but could be for longer stays. Washing machine and WI-FI worked great. We did not use the cooking facilities so cannot comment on their suitability. The air conditioner in the main bedroom leaked water needing a jug to catch it - so we turned it off and left a message - but received no response. I wouldn't recommend leaving the windows open at night due to mosquitos. Because 1 one of our daughters was sleeping on the sofa - we closed the blinds at night - these were difficult to open and close and have been damaged because of this - so we were worried they would come off / rip even more. The location of the accommodation was fantastic - in between Rialto bridge, St Marks and close to a supermarket and many restaurants. There were lots of visitors to the monument outside - but we were not in our apartment enough for it to be an issue.
My husband and I stayed here for 4 days in May. Erica was wonderful, answered her phone, met us on time, and even arranged for our water taxi to the airport on the day of our departure. The apartment smelled like incense. The entry floor was lovely. The bathrooms were large, nice fixtures, adequate towels and hot water for showers (though we were only two). The pictures on the website looked nicer than the unit. The furnishings were minimal and very dated - one kitchen table with four chairs and one sofa. There was only a bed (very firm) in each bedroom - no closet or dresser or shelves, just a couple of hooks on the wall. The walls were scratched and dirty in places. The kitchen had a two-burner stove (cover had been recently broken and not yet repaired), no dishwasher, and the sink was hidden in a cabinet, which was a nuisance to use. There was a constant stream of visitors to the monument outside, but they were usually quiet and finished visiting by night. We were conveniently located to the Rialto Bridge, the Rialto open market, and an excellent supermarket.

Owner's Response: Dear Joseph , glad you liked the location. The apartment has been designed by venetial Architect Giulio Lattuada in a minimalist style , still saving some of the original venician characthers such as exposed ceiling beams and terrazzo flooring on the bedrooms. The table has an extensive bench on one side and can sit six at needs. We chose to enclose behind doors so dishes are out of seen when not used , burner also. Yes, there is one bed in each room , and again we chose to put two large armoires in the entrance so that we leave more room in the bedrooms.
Apt. Is in an excellent location near the Rialto. Internet pictures made the apt look nicer than it was. Kitchen was tiny and sparsely equipped. Living area was small and uncomfortable. Second bedroom was tiny , had no storage and a twin bed. Apt was clean. Meet up was easy, contacts were responsive.

Tourists without a Car,
Owner and Erica great to work with. However, thought pictures were very generous. We were very disappointed with the cleanliness, or more specifically the lack of. The floor was very dirty. Knew that we would use couch for bed since we had 4 people, wish it had not been broken! Would not stay there again!
