3BR, 2 Bathroom, Kitchen, Living Room w/Fireplace, Large Deck and Wooded Views

This is a great condo, professionally upgraded. Luxury Queen in MBR with TV, and two twins in the guest BR and another queen in the Loft area. 46' LED in the Living Room with Sectional Sofa and Recliner, and a 32' LCD in the MBR. Newly Remodeled Kitchen with dishwasher and Refrigerator with Ice Maker. Dining room table seats 6 comfortably. Large Back Deck with chairs, and BBQ grill. Our condo is just one mile from the mountain top. Brand new indoor Swimming pool and sauna/hot tub for those winter aches, and an outdoor pool for the summer sun. Local hiking trails in the village, and private dock access at Village owned Beach. Our cabin style condo is fully equipped for all your needs. Firewood is provided just steps from the condo unit. Parking is just in front of the cabin and there is plenty of space. World-class skiing is located under 2 miles up the hill at Whitefish Mountain Ski and Summer Resort - voted one of the top 20 ski resorts in the country by Powder Magazine. Free Wi-FI

SKI Details: Ptarmigan Village is one mile from the Ski Slopes. There is a Ski Bus that comes by but it is better to drive to the lifts at Whitefish Mountain Resort (Big Mountain). Lessons and lift tickets are very reasonable and there are a wide variety of easy to extremely challenging trails.

There is also great Cross Country (Nordic) at the Whitefish Golf Course, Round Meadows, Glacier National Park, and at Essex Mt.

The Winter carnival is held the first week in February and is a good time with races, night skiing and other events.

Summer Events: Whitefish Lake has great boating and fishing as does Flathead Lake. The Flathead River in Glacier Park, is great for whitewater rafting and fly fishing. Going to the Sun Road is a must do in the summer, and if hiking is your thing, you will be in heaven with all the marvelous sites and trails in the wilderness areas.

Many great golf courses in the area, with the Whitefish Golf Course the closest. Another picturesque and challenging course is at Glacier Park West Entrance. There are 5 or 6 other courses in the immediate area.

Whitefish, MT is situated 62 miles from the Canadian Border, 30 miles from Glacier Nat'l Park, and is in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. The closest airport is Kalispell, and it is an easy drive to Missoula and on to Yellowstone. Our condo is one mile from the summit at Whitefish Mountain Resort.

Three couples from the UK, Moses Lake, and VA Beach had a wonderful time. Your condo was a very comfortable home base for trips to Glacier Park, North American Indian days in Browning, and to the top of Big Mountain. Especially appreciated the WiFi which allowed us to keep in touch with the world.

Loved the New Furniture

Hi Bob, the mattress is super comfortable - nice and firm. We also really enjoyed the comfortable seats with the new patio furniture - that wasn't there on our last visit.
