Bokeelia Cottage was built in 1905 to house the chauffeur and his family for a wealthy industrialist whose waterfront home was near-by. While the mechanicals have all been updated, this home retains much of its original charm, from wide mop board trim, southern yellow pine floors and 6 panel doors. There are 2 bedrooms and on the first floor and 2 on the second (the largest 2nd floor bedroom sleeps 4 comfortably and could hold a cot, playpen, etc.). Two baths, the first floor has the original claw foot tub. This location is an easy walk to restaurants, theatre, shopping, Marginal Way, and, of course, the Beach. For your comfort, you should know, we live in town, and have been renting properties in Ogunquit for nearly 25 years. Best regards, Karen

Once here, there is little need for a car. Great town for walking and biking or scooter to get around.
