Asheville Vacation Rental house

This mountain top home was beautiful with all its custom features.(the kitchen, the fireplace,the upstairs balcony Oh My) The house was impeccably clean. The views from all windows were outstanding and ever changing. It felt like we were staying in an exclusive tree house.

The four bedrooms and four bathrooms offered everyone the privacy they needed when they wanted. The common areas were large enough for all to gather for meals and relaxation.

It was especially nice to have access to a state of the art washer and dryer in the laundry room. It was great to be able to park our vehicles in the attached garage and to work out on the fabulous equipment in the exercise room.

We made good use of the expansive outdoor deck and gas grill.

The home was conveniently located to the Biltmore House, Biltmore Village and other area attractions. It is easily accessible to the area highways.

The owners treated us like family. We felt very welcome. We feel very fortunate to have stayed in such a lovely place. We would not hesitate to stay there again should we get an opportunity.

After a long flight from the UK we walked into the house and immediately felt calm. It is a beautifully relaxing house. Very clean, superbly presented and welcoming.
The views are amazing, so meals on the deck are a must and so easy with the gas barbeque, plenty of chairs and room and well stocked kitchen. We have never been in a rental house that has everything you could possibly want to cook a decent meal. The Owner has thought this through perfectly. The sitting area is very comfortable, airy and light, to be able to relax, chat and watch TV. Especially good after a day out being tourists.
Our bedrooms were luxurious. The beds very comfortable to enable good nights sleep, with ensuite bathrooms much better than a 5* hotel! Plenty of extra towels, bed linen and toiletries were available. Air con and ceiling fans provided the perfect set up. Don't forget to catch the sunrise to the front of the property, not to be missed. The exercise area enticed the men to take up their workouts seriously again! An added bonus.
The Owner was superb. Pre holiday she answered all our questions, giving us ideas about the area and answered emails immediately. During our holiday she was extremely helpful and it was a great privilege to be able to meet her and thank her personally.
For us Asheville will always be a special place as this was a holiday to celebrate our son's engagement with his future wife and in-laws. However, we enjoyed the area so much and would definately return. We would recommend Chimmey Rock for a beautiful view without a hard hike, perfect for those with disabilties. The Laughing Seed Resturant in Asheville is to be commended, the service was excellent, the food, although vegetarian, was imaginative and very tasty. We had a meat eating South African in our party who cleared his plate and would go again!
On our last day we had a meal on the deck, the sunset was amazing, the ambience of the place perfect. This house is to be recommended without equivocation. It is simply, 'THE BEST' !

This is one of the best vacation homes my family has ever stayed in and we have stayed in some nice ones including in Kiawah and Debordieu. There are three things that bring me to this conclusion: the views, the proximity to downtown Asheville and the home itself.

Views - The pictures on the website say it all. The views are spectacular and can be appreciated on the deck(which is massive) as well as inside the home. The side of the house with the views is essentially one big wall of windows(see pictures)that allow you to enjoy the views everywhere from the kitchen to the den. The views are equally as gorgeous at night when you can see the lights of the various townships miles away.

Proximity to Downtown Asheville - This property is unique not only because of the views but because it is near downtown Asheville. Those two traits are tough to find in the area. The home is essentially at the very top of the hill in a residential/vacation community in Asheville. So if you want to get that mountain experience with the views but still have quick access to the city then this is the place. You are minutes away from Biltmore Village, all the great restaurants and activities in downtown Asheville not to mention the golf courses.

Amenities - The home has state-of-the-art appliances including a flat screen TV hanging to the left of the fireplace so you can enjoy TV from both the kitchen and the den. The home includes wi-fi, stereo, DVD...everything that you would have in your home. Almost forgot to mention the table and chairs(and grill) on the deck for sunset dinners. While not a "wow" feature it was also nice to have a garage.

Lastly, the couple that owns the house(we met both) were extremely nice and really, really wanted to be sure the house was to our liking and that we had a good time and enjoyed our stay. They succeeded.
