Luxury waterfront condo with panoramic sunset view from three floors; perfect for families. Located in the heart of the hotel zone (60+ hotels), in a gated community with 24 hour manned security. Cancun International Airport is 25 minutes (12 miles); it's a 10 minute walk to the lively Plaza La Isla*, and across the road is the beach*. Crazy nights at the hotel zone hotspot are within a 10 min bus ride. Surrounded by three swimming pools*, the condo is 10 feet from the edge of the lake and the boat docks. The master bedroom is the main feature with the terrace pointing west, overlooking the lake, allowing you to enjoy sunsets and full moons. The kitchen has all new appliances plus we have a water softener. Allocated parking is within a 30 sec walk, in a secure area. The available tours and activities are endless, as are the number of places to eat. We are happy to suggest activities for your party/unique situation. *See photos.

We Can Shop For Your Food & Beverages: How this works. At least two weeks prior to your arrival you send us an email with a list of the food and beverages you require and we will endeavor to purchase these items such that they are available in the villa on your arrival. This is an optional service we offer for $50 (plus the shopping bill at cost) - all to save you some hassle.

Local Transport: A cheap, reliable and safe bus service operates between the hotel zone and downtown Cancun and buses are available every few minutes. As of March '09 a one-way trip to or from town costs Pesos 7.50 (divide by 13 to convert to US $). Taxi fees from and to any location within downtown are a fixed Pesos 20.00. A taxi from downtown Cancun to the villa costs Pesos 130.00 because the charges increase when you enter the hotel zone.

Lake Nichupte: This is the large mass of water immediately outside the villa - on the west side of the hotel zone. The lake is connected to the sea at two locations: one on the southeast side, one on the northeast side. It has a mangrove area where the crocodiles live - to be shown by the local tour boat guides, and there is a variety of fish including snapper and barracuda that can be seen from the boat docks outside the condo. The water is warm and ok for snorkeling, canoeing, paddling inflatable boats, waverunners, water skiing, wind surfing and wake boarding.

This property was gorgeous, the couple that owns the home were so accomodating they could have been family! The pool was very near and Isla Dorada is a very exclusive and safe community. The home was clean and very well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable, the views were amazing from every room, the decor and layout was perfect, would not change a thing! I would recommend to everyone who wants a great relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the hotel zone (but in walking distance of a bus stop) to definately rent this home!

As you know, we are new to the short-term rental market so, in our efforts to be attentative to your needs, we were in danger of breathing down your necks. It has been our pleasure to stay at this beautiful town home on the lagoon in Isla Dorada. The home is beautifully furnished with all the comforts of home and the beauty of being directly on the water. The sun set and sun rise is beautiful.
We especially enjoyed the convience of two very nice pools just feet from either side of the home. Wonderful restaurants just outside the security gates to the complex. Easy access to golf courses.
It is not necessary to rent a car because you are actually in the hotel zone without being in the center of noise.
We made a last minuet reservation by phone and are looking forward to returning.
I highly recomend a stay in this home.
