I am a 24 year breast cancer survivor with 2 daughters and 9-year old twin grandchildren. I have used VRBO in the past - always with a positive experience so I knew right away who I wanted to deal with when deciding to rent my home!
Linda purchased this house in 2001
Why Linda chose Middletown
I built this home as part of my founding Rhode Island's first and only free nonprofit center dedicated to supporting and celebrating the lives of women with cancer and their families and to be near my grown children and grandchildren. The house/co-op is also used on occasion for retreats for women with cancer as well as support groups. Something that brings me joy to do. With the increasing challenges in the funding department I have discovered that renting the home is an elegant solution to a difficult problem.
What makes this house unique
This is truly a perfect home in every way. Not smack in the hustle and bustle of downtown and surrounded by open space on every side. Yet everything is a stones throw away from beaches and fine dining to shopping and museums. The house is very large and very, very roomy, making it a great space for get-togethers or family retreats. It should be noted that there are areas of the house that are not baby/child proof so care must be taken with children in the home. The Gardens and patio offer visitors a peaceful and relaxing space to sit or visit.
The home also features a director in residence basement apartment with a seperate entrance.
