We rented this house last July for the entire month. The owner's were generous in allowing us in a day early and stocking the fridge with some some treats to get us through the first few days. The house was all we had expected and more!
From the first light of day, our children ran to the back yard. They didn't even ASK to turn on the TV! My 6 year old was obsessed with fishing and must've caught every fish in the pond at least twice! Each day, we drove to visit farms, orchards & fields to see where our food was coming from. We had a great time seeing how cheese was made at Coach Farms and gathered our own eggs at the Grass fed Beef farm , Grazing Acres ust a short drive away. Gigi's Market gave us our NY Times and Baked goods fix. This was truly the summer adventure of a lifetime.
The house didn't have much furniture but everything there suited our needs. The kitchen was small but very well equipped. High end appliances made cooking fun! Brand new linens and towels were provided and any time there was a glitch, the owners were responsive and above and beyond helpful. The residence was equipped with an operating manual that we have implemented at our own home (brilliant). The house was very clean and we enjoyed living in it all.
I would strongly recommend this rental for a family retreat or even just a get away that allows you to listen to the birds and read a book in the peaceful serenity that is the property!
