Easy and Comfortable...

All we had to do was pull up and park for this visit...then walk to beach, coffee shop and restaurants! This is a perfect Windansea lodging! Hose off downstairs after our days at the beach, relax on the patio deck and then prepare for happy hour in the well equipped kitchen. The futon and bed were comfortable for the entire family. Kid friendly too!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Great location with parking near beach in La Jolla

We are originally from San Diego and wanted to stay in this area. We stayed in this 1 Bedroom for one week with our 18 year old son. The location was walking distance to the surfing beach and a corner deli/coffee shop. We also walked into Bird Rock shops and La Jolla center but that was a longer walk. It is an area with terrible parking but as a renter you have a spot under the unit.
The condo was clean and maintained with a very firm bed. The kitchen is well stocked and the unit provides beach gear. Shampoo, soap and blow dryer were not provided.
The only downside was that the only bathroom was through the bedroom, which made it more difficult for our son who was sleeping on the futon sofa in the living room.
The balcony / patio is small but a lovely place to sit and read. The houses on this street (and in this area) are close together so there is some noise from activity but it is family (not college student) noise.
It is very reasonably priced for the location. It is self-clean and we have not received our deposit back yet from 2 weeks ago, but we believe it will arrive. We needed Sunday to Sunday and most rentals were set up for Saturdays.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
