Waikiki Vacation Rental hotel

We stayed at this unit in June 2007 and were completely satisfied. We were attending a convention at the Hawaii conference center, which is about a 10-minute walk away. The beach is also about a 10-minute walk in a different direction, through Fort DeRussey. When we were studying the maps before arrival, we didn't know exactly what this fort is. Actually, it is a nice park with some military buildings on it. So the walk to Waikiki is very pleasant.

We didn't have too much contact with the hotel staff, other than the doormen, who are extremely nice. Other than the tour groups that sometimes gathered in the lobby, we saw very few other people around the property (the floor that this unit is on was quiet at all times).

The photos of this unit accurately convey what it is like. There were 2 of us, and the size was quite comfortable. The bathroom was nicer than I had expected, and the wetbar area provided sufficient resources for fixing simple meals (obviously a great money-saver).

Everything was very clean and there were some nice extra touches that indicated a thoughtful owner who wanted to make things great for his guests/customers. Due to way things fell on our credit card billing cycle, it took a while to receive credit back for the security deposit, but it did come through without us having to take additional action. Overall, we couldn't have been happier with this rental.
