A large and quiet property in the East Chop Martha's Vineyard. This beach home sleeps 16-20 and includes 8 bedrooms, 3 baths and a large outdoor shower. The house is located 400 feet from the local jetty beach and yacht club and only a ten-minute walk around the harbor into Oak Bluffs.

This completely renovated 1870 Victorian beach home is one of the grand old cottages on Martha's Vineyard. Sit out on the deck in the morning and take in the crisp ocean air as you read the local Vineyard Gazette, or take your paper to the local beach only a half-block away. Experience the true Vineyard experience by being in the middle of it all but feeling like you're far, far away. An ideal vacation spot for all.

Being able to walk to the beach, to the lighthouse, and into town and bike all around the island. Old-timers say East Chop is the best location on the island!

What a great place to spend some of our summer vacation! the house was lovely--spacious, charming, with a very east-coast relaxed feel. It is perfectly located between the more picturesque oceanside views of east chop, and the town of Oak Bluffs that offers more activities. Also, the 2-minute walk to the beach is perfect to be able to pop over there at any time--sunset, lunch, etc.
All the rooms at the house are very comfortable and decorated with unique vintage signs, creating a wonderful beachhouse feel. A fantastic place!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

I could not have been happier with my time in this house! The description is true. This home/location really gives you the peace and quiet you go to the Vineyard for but is still incredibly close to everything! What a great find! I made wonderful memories during my stay and truly felt happy and rested at the end of my time there. Can't wait to go back next year!
