POOL HOUSE sleeps up to 2 *IF AVAILABLE* This beautiful property was built in 1927, its original structure is one of the founders of coconut grove; it is centrally located even for the parrots !! who with their sounds, will accompany your morning coffee while enjoying the pool and garden area , making the scene a truly tropical paradise. For a morning walk within a mile you will enjoy a shady pathway of beautiful trees that will take you to the center of coconut grove where you can find casual and fine restaurants, parks, and marinas. We are located a mile away from Coco Walk, across the street from The Kampong, 3-5 miles from University of Miami, Grove Key Marina, Monty's Marina who offers the best adventures of deep sea fishing in Miami. We have also the beaches of Key Biscayne where the Sea Aquarium is located, and Ericson 500 tennis tournament takes place. Fairchild Tropical Gardens, Merrick Park shopping center, The Shops at Sunset and Coco Walk. The variety of fine dinning is endless between Sun Set, Coral Gables and Coconut Grove area. The nearest 18 holes golf course is in the Biltmore Hotel and 9 hole course is Granada Golf Course ... and all still, within in the 3-5 miles!! * ideal for families looking to relocate in the area, business endeavors, or fun kids vacations like summer sailing camps.

Additional information about rental rates

  • To confirm booking- initial deposit of 25% is due along with the application/ agreement signature
  • once accepted, the final lodging balance is due 15 days prior to arrival. This includes all taxes. If booking a reservation within 30 days of your arrival, the full balance is due at the time of the booking.
    ACCEPTED PAYMENT - Preferably by Credit card or money transfer from bank to bank.
    REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT - a refundable security deposit corresponding to the amount of $300 min. to $ 500 max. is due upon arrival date, this is required to cover the home you are renting in the event of damages.
    CANCELLATION POLICY - If you need to cancel, there is a cancellation fee up to 25% if a re-booking is not possible, due to the nature of the short rental business. When possible late arrivals may be accommodated with no guarantee.
  • The property is located in a residential zone, it is subject to MIAMI DADE city rules and regulations.
    Due to the maintenance of the property, particularly to the garden, the meter reader man, pool cleaner, gardener, and the owner must have access to the property by the side door of the garden with out disturbing the guests, under the same circumstances, the owner reserves the access and may have use to the pool house at any time while the main house is rented. the pool house will be separated.
    MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number of guests in the main house is limited to five 5 persons. An additional charge or $50.00 per person per night for guests in addition to five 5 will be assessed. THIS PROPERTY REQUIRES A THREE (3) NIGHT MINIMUM STAY.
    NO INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen-towel setup. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate.
    NO DAILY MAID SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rat

Here are few things that you should know: there is no cable TV in the house, however, there is a TV only to watch dvds, you are welcome to bring your own. You are welcome also to connect your ipod to the stereo system and also you can bring your computer, we do have fast wireless internet connection. We have lots of books, and a grand piano . The pool is not heated. This is a quiet home that is meant to be for relaxing and enjoying the area. Martha (the owner) is around at all times , may assist you as much you may need, DURING YOUR STAY THE OWNER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ACCES TO THE POOL HOUSE, the pool house while is not rented will be separated from the house with a private acces in order to not disturbe the guests, Martha or John will be around, but most likely you will not see them unless you really need to. if you may need to use the fax number in the house is 305 448 5501.

The home was perfect. It is centrally located to downtown Coconut Grove, which is a 10 minute walk. There is dining, shopping, parks, historical places to visit. We stay for 10 days and my twin infant sons enjoyed their stay in Miami. It was like a home away from home.
The owner keeps the house very well maintained and the decor is beautiful. I would definitely recommend this property. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to stay again later in the year.
