Photos and Description of the Cozumel vacation condo rental
Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

Our condominium is located on the first floor of a four floor complex. There are only 12 units on the property which generally means that it is quiet and very relaxing. There are views of the pool and ocean from the kitchen, dining room, living room and master bedroom. There are two patios adjacent to the unit one in front of the living room and one in front of the master bedroom that are large enough to seat 6 for meals.

The patios are adjacent to the pool and there are comfortable lounge chairs available for the guests. A more secluded beach area is located on this property one flight of stairs below the pool. This sandy area has two palapas and a shade structure for those people who want to look out over the ocean and also stay in the shade. There is plenty of room for sunning on this beach as well.

A ladder leads into the ocean where there is abundant sea life. Snorkelers enjoy seeing eels, sting rays, trunk fish and a variety of other marine life. As the sun sets over the pool and the ocean it adds to the wonderful views that this condominium provides.

About The Owner

We live in Colorado so we really appreciate the warm weather in Cozumel. My friends and I love to spend time here. Some of us dive, some snorkel and some just hang out at the condo! We enjoy trying new restaurants and exploring the island. We hope you get a chance to experience it too!

The Owner purchased this condo in 2005
Why The Owner chose Cozumel

The reason I decided to buy in Cozumel is because it is only four hours away from Denver and Frontier has direct flights. I picked this condo because of the view!!!

What makes this condo unique

Had a blast at this property. Its one of 12 but its the best of the bunch due to lower floor, private patio, and afternoon shade that the others don't get. Felt more private and secluded.
Another great thing this property has that the others don't. Sand. It has a great layout area with sand directly below the pool on the ocean line and it makes it really feel like you have your own private beach. Due to the all cement construction we rarely heard a peep out of the neighbors. Location is also within walking distance of our favorite restaurant, Guidos. The owner has a great directions book with all sorts of information for the 1st timers that really helped us with restaurant selection and areas to avoid. Look forward to it next year!

Amazing Vacation!

This is such a wonderful place to go to for an easy laid back vacation. Everything is taken care of by the Condo and the owner, towels, water and clean sheets etc.

The complex is great, pool right there and excellent snorkeling off to back. It's also a great walk into town with cute bars along the way.

I would definitely recommend staying here for anyone who likes a good vacation!

Have just returned from a 13 day visit 7/6/12 - 7/18/12 . Had a great time !! The Condo is awesome , all the amenities you could ever need ,well maintained ,clean and lovely decorations .Excellent location for the town .Very quiet and relaxing .Loved the view right off the patio overlooking the pool and ocean ,with beautiful sunsets .Best snorkelling we found was at the Condo. Great beaches around the Island to explore .Our children enjoyed Paradise beach with the kayaking , rock wall ,bounce houses and slides. Would definately recommend this Condo for all.

Favorite place to stay in Cozumel

This is absolutely my favorite place to stay in Cozumel. I have been to Cozumel a dozen times and have stayed at Cantamar three times and in this condo unit twice. First of all, I am a diver and LOVE diving in Cozumel so I am not into any of the touristy things that there are to do around the island. I like the condo’s proximity to town – I can walk there in 10 to 15 minutes and then taxi home for $5. Cantamar is a quiet condo – perhaps 10 units? Maybe there would be another couple in the pool or lounging on the beach. This unit is on the ground floor so it is perfect for enjoying the pool and beach area. The condo has easy access for freshening up your drink or grabbing a bit to eat while you are pool side or on the beach. If you are into snorkeling, some of the best snorkeling is right in front of the condo. Great location, breath taking view, beautiful condo – you can’t do better than this anywhere on the island.

BEST vacation to date!

We had the BEST time in Cozumel! The condo location is ideal and the weather, shopping, people, snorkeling and food were all great! We loved watching the cruise ships come and go as we relaxed by the pool and enjoyed the ocean. The condo was spotless when we arrived and it was cleaned three times while we were there, which was so nice. The kitchen and laundry were special perks we loved having on vacation. It was such an amazing trip! The people were so friendly. We did a lot (visited the ruins, took a trip around island, ate at lots of great restaurants, went shopping, toured the museum, marina, etc.), but one of the best things we did was have a private chef cook for us at the condo one night. Book Cozumel Chef Emily Egge - she was wonderful, as was her food and the service by her husband. She will cook in the condo and treat you like royalty! Very relaxing and absolutely divine. We did not want to leave this paradise!
