Lake Front Property with Boat Slip!

The owners and management company did a great job in providing us all the confirmation, details, and numbers beforehand. Upon driving up to the house, we immediately loved the location (footsteps away from the lake as the description states). When we opened the door to this wonderful property we noticed right away the cleanliness and the well kept interior of the house. The place was very clean and ready for us. The kitchen was stocked with tableware and the basic appliances. The property is two stories with the living quarters on the bottom floor and 2 bedrooms on the top floor. The ski resort was very close by and the primary reason for our trip. The town of McHenry is very friendly and fun. Definitely check out Boardwalk bar and bear tavern as they are walking distance (~0.5 miles) from the property. Also check out Mountain State Brewing Company for amazing food and craft microbrew beers. The location of this property within the town is great.

The description of the property is dead on accurate. The photos accurately reflect the property's appearance and amenities. The property was clean and well-maintained. The owners were helpful. We will definitely recommend this property to all of our friends and family.

We (two adult couples) stayed here for one night in January 2011. Our contact was very responsive and quick to reply to emails. The place was small but very quaint. Things to note: Bring your own linens as they are not provided. Do not drive down to the lower parking lot if it's snowy and you do not have all wheel drive. We had no problem getting down to the lower parking level in front of the townhouse but got stuck trying to get back out. We parked on the upper parking lot after that and all was well. The location is lovely and very convenient to Wisp Resort. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for the 4th of July and felt the home was ideal! It was a last minute decision and we were excited to find a place available on such short notice. The home was quaint, neat, and in a perfect location for the 4th. Being water front with the boat slip available gave us the opportunity to rent a boat for the weekend! We enjoyed a 4th of July meal on the deck. For the fireworks we had front row seats,waterfront with a fire pit, without traffic or hassle. It was quiet and relaxing and a central location to all the conveniences Deep Creek has to offer. We had 3 adults, 2 children and it never felt crowded. I would highly reccomend this for a rental and hope to return myself!
